All over Atlanta PK(-115) over the KC Chiefs and quite frankly real glad that many have stayed away to keep this line where it is.

Exact same situation and line as Atlanta opening up at Chicago last year.

People staying away from it because its not even August yet.  Better lock it in now because that line is going to be a public favorite come opening Sunday.

I don't know if those 3 teams qualify as bet against teams this year.  What reasons do you have for each?
Indy and Tampa were horrible ATS last season, a combined 10 games under .500 ATS.  KC was 8-6 ATS.
I see Tampa as a good bounce back candidate this year with the amount of talent they have and under new direction with Schiano.

Over 12 wins for the Pats looks very likely.  10 wins looks right on the number for Philly based on the toughness of their division and the fact they play the AFC North and NFC South this year, two of the three toughest divisions in football.  Steelers are in similar situation having their own division and the NFC East scheduled.  Neither would surprise me if they went over the 10 though.

Someone please show me where 12 wins will come from on Denver's schedule?  Even their posted O/U 9.5 wins is going to be tough, regardless of Peyton's health.

Its good to finally get some NFL discussion going again, look forward to the season.

I definitely think both of those teams win SU, so I might play one of those crazy parlays with several teams, including Philly & Bears ML's..........also, Titans +7, Giants ML, Broncos -1.5, Skins +9.5, of course we are still about 38 days until the regular season starts.

The Steelers are usually not a good team to bet on, specially as favorites, but as a dog and with something to play for, I wouldn't go against them in this situation. The public will be all over Denver. I would wait and see if you can get+3 or more with Pittsburgh. That was a lucky throw by Tebow last year, payback could be in order here.

Pit was already +3.5, that's not coming back.

Public will not be all over Denver.

Profit after football season was $8,750.............(was up a lot last season & I wont be making the same mistake of giving most of it back.

Profit for College basketball was +$4,420...............(I only bet March Madness tourney)

Lost -$770 in the NBA this season, only 2 plays, 0-2, NBA is terrible for me.

Horse Racing: -$1,300 all races combined that I stated I wagered on............

No Baseball or Hockey plays...............

Total profits: +$11,100............... more to come in 2012, hopefully............

Like the Bronco pick alot. The Steelers running game is suspect at this point and  gentle Ben is gonna be running for his freakin life if what that giant galumpfth does when he moves his legs and feet is called running... Elway and Denver D have been salivating over this scenario for months. Besides Pittsburgh seems in disarray....obviously the pre-season has to be evaluated but its the one game I liked too...  and Manning wanting it even more. Especially after an earful from younger brother, the lucky little garbage. (dont bet against the Patriots line, no one ever got rich doin that)

I like reading PTB forums. I wish all the haters would piss off and ignore PTB if they dont like him/his picks.

I can't say i agree with all of the picks you pick but like reading none the less.Titans scare me, denver does as well. But by no means am i am great capper/bet maker.

I would love to see the texans go to the SB this year, they were playing so great last year before schaub was hurt.

PTB usually doesnt answer my questions for some reason, however I am curious to know why you think that the Chargers deserve any respect at all? I know its not always accurate to look at the year before but besides their lackluster season, Rivers has had absolutely no success in the post season.

I dont know why everyone is so bent on going against the Saints.. Brees is almost like having a second coach (he plays like manning with smarts and can carry that team) I cant see them going under 500 but i have  been wrong before.

Week one I like:
- Arizona (as long as kolb isnt starting) ml
- Chi to stomp indy, ml in a parlay
- and houston over miami

I know PTB doesnt usually play o/u but i like the over on mia/hou as well.

Best of luck all, i am as excited as the rest of you!!!!

Chargers or Denver will win that division imo.............Chargers had several unlucky situation/games last season which would have gotten them into the playoffs. I believe it turns around for them this season, especially with all the focus on Manning & the Broncos on that division.

Depends on what each persons units are...........when I place my wagers, I will post what I played. If I really like a game, I will be more on it.

Matty t, I am with you.   Chargers are highly overrated.  Look for them to be on the bottom of the AFC.  I tend to watch my fantasy players to much detail and Philip Rivers not only had a bad year but he is falling and falling fast in the NFL.  His head is not in these games and without a good to great Rivers this team is absolute garbage.  Oh lets  not mention their best reciever in Gates is about done himself.  That boy cant even stand anymore let alone play football.

If im not mistaken, Cutler was the joke of the league 3 years ago & the following year, he took the Bears to the championship game. Dont ever count a team or player out because of 1 or 2 disappointing seasons.........lets not forget, this is the NFL!

PTB I am not exactly sure I understand the comparison.  Cutler is the man and I never viewed him as a joke neither do I Rivers.  But I do believe Rivers is on his way out of the league.  Cutler is only getting better.   Rivers is not the only reason.  Do they have a defense?  Special teams?  They're not very good.   The offense will produce points but turnovers at the wrong time and lack of the other 2 teams(def,s.t.) and a division on the rise loaded with talent will be sure to stop them from winning a lot of games.
