Yes they created 2 huge turnovers on special teams one of which was a legit strip of the ball.....regardless the Giants defense held SF to ZERO 3rd down attempts and made enough plays offensively in the clutch to win against a superior defense on the road. Do you really think Pats D will do anything to limit Eli Manning? 2nd question is do you think Brady will just have his way w/ Giants D especially front 4 which is a dominant force rotating 6 all pros? Not happening anytime soon. If you just looked at the simple facts that this Giants team is better than they were in 07' in just about every aspect and the Pats are not the same team they were especially defensively...
Good points Splooge.............. |

#110 Posted: 1/25/2012 8:49:37 PM I like your posts. Stats and analysis point to under, I agree with you from that point of view. I think Vegas double crosses themselves this time. This one is an over, after you break down their previous meetings and the total for last ten superbowls, and who played them. I think this one defies the odds, and odds makers. Also leaning, Giants complete their run, and take home the trophy. It's Eli's year to shine, with big brother on the sidelines and out of the limelight, even helping him game plan this one. Who better to be in your corner on a big game? The best football mind this decade. Just saying.

Also of those 7 Superbowls how many have had a potent offense as these 2 teams.

#121 Posted: 1/26/2012 4:01:03 PM I FEEL LIKE THE GIANTS AND THE POINTS ARE THE PLAY, BUT I DON'T LIKE GOING AGAINST BRADY AND THAT OFFENSIVE MACHINE. EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT THE GIANTS OFFENSE, BUT I WILL TAKE THE PATS IN THIS GAME

They have covered but not always won SU.
2003-04 Pats went 1-1 ATS VS panthers 3-0 ATS, Pats won SU.
1999-00 Rams went 1-1 ATS VS Titans 3-0 ATS, Rams won SU. And Rams pushed on closing spread. |
