Leinart has been in the system for over a year now and should have gain some familiarity with the system. I feel that his career with the Cards he never had a really dangerous running game like he did in USC. Something he was accustomed to. But in the Texans he has that dangerous running game to support his passing game. I would think that the first game for Leinart as a starter, hes gonna be used to manage the game more than to win the game. Having Andre Johnson back should also be a good safety blanket for Lienart in 3rd and longs. The thing i really like about this matchup is Texans D vs the Jags O. Jags identity on offense is a running team, and the Texans are really good against the run. Texans are 4th in yards allowed on the ground and 2nd on yards allowed in the air. This simply does not bode well for the Jags and their league worse offense.
