geezus , wtf

all i ever said was be careful

strength of schedule is debateable , bears overall have played

better teams i guess, but got whipped by the saints lost to packers and beat the 2 teams you feel are such indicators of

a strong body of work  , eagles is hard to judge ...

afc west is down , KC is wierd mostly suck , denver is weird

period and SD is down , lot of injuries but usually good ...

but out of nfl rankings alone , pass offense , pass defense

rush offense and rush defense , only rush defense are

the bears ranked even higher than the oakland raiders

3 of the four oakland is better

pass O = raiders 19th , bears 22nd

rush O  = raiders 3rd , bears 14th

pass D = raiders 19th  , bears 29th

rush D = raiders 25th , bears 10th

division history ??

hmm

\

afc west superbowls 6 , nfc north 5

and thanks to the packers its that close .....

regarding falcons and lions , seriously all i said was whatever

i will say right now , neither gets in the playoffs

i think your bears will , other wild card will go to giants or boys

I am a Bears fan, but pretty open minded and money comes first for me in the regular season.

The Bears certainly CAN win here, but I wouldn't bet on it. Cutler has been playing lights out behind a line that isn't very good. I gotta wonder how an inexperienced kid will handle the heat. Oakland has an excellent line and while they can be exploited in the run game, they get Chicago in 3rd and longs and I fear for Hanie in those collapsing pockets. Being on the road first start also hurts without Hanie having crowd support while he gets his person wet.

and in case anybody cares... just to further my point:

NFC North vs. AFC West this year... NFC North leads 5-3

but wait... AFC West is 3-0 vs. the Vikings... 0-5 vs the Lions, Packers and Bears...

make that 0-6!

i wish i could take that bet... they will both make the playoffs... Lions for sure will... even though they have one of the toughest schedules in the entire league...

ok this thread is out of gas , lol

i dont mind the debates and arguments so to speak

i did say all along the bears +4 looked pretty good , and also

that I dont see this as some easy win that vegas fucked up on for the bears to win outright and question why they are a dog ....

lot of star power is out of the game , be interesting to see how

this game plays out .....both teams need it

gl to all

Falcons could miss the playoffs... but it's a moot point, because i only brought them into the conversation to point out that the Bears quality wins are much better than the Raiders' quality wins...

i agree

nfc north is better than afc west , that is obvious right now

SD has garbage their pants , KC either a fraud from last year

or all the injuries messed em up too much , I cant figure out

Denver and the Tebow thing still , raiders are pretty fuckin

good , been going without dmac now , and had other injuries

including cambell that i think messed up some momentum

if you took forte out of the lineup for several games its close

to what the raiders have been missing , dmac is a stud

just checked .. i could be wrong about atlanta , even though

6-4 they play nobody the rest of the way , if they dont garbage their

own pants could fo 11-5 easily and since giants have a harder

schedule they could get in , lions i still doubt , no suh likely

for a couple of games and they are 2-3 or 3-2 at best finishing out

leaving them 10-6 or 9-7 ....  hmmmm i am not sold on them

considering where they came from recently that is a good improvement and next year might be better .....no run game

the way stafford is , could go down injured any time now ..

who said bears have elite D , they are ranked 25th in the NFL   they have peppers, urlacher and briggs , couple of other guys are pretty good , but they are not elite by any means

Yeah - they have only played the following teams with some unprolific and lousy QBs

New Orleans - Drew Brees - 30 Points
Green Bay - Aaron Rodgers - 27 Points
Philadelphia - Michael Vick - 24 Points
San Diego - Rivers - 20 Points

And thats apart from playing Cam Newton (29 Points) and Matt Stafford (24) around the time the Bears were not playing well at the start of the season.

So if you look at reason why they are 25th when on any given Sunday those QBs they face are going to get a few yards, you can see why they are 25th.

Look - Bears are going to keep the ball on the ground and use rush. Marion Barber and Forte will torch this weak Oakland rush defense.

I don't get analysis paralysis and don't go around looking through every stat. I call it as I see it and I call the Games where the Bookies are playing their dumb trick.

I don't get fooled by dumb tricks. Last time I got fooled by a trick was when I paid for it and she went and blew someone else!

The card for Sunday evening has alot of Games which people will watch and bet rather than this one and this is the one Game which won't attract as much money so Bookies not risking some $50 Million bet on this Game alone.

But they will draw the squares in thinking they can rip them off and making Oakland seem like a better team. SO even with Cutler out - Oakland are just giving 3 points (was 4.5)?

You go do the maths as I ain't good at skool stuff but c'mon - 3 points without your QB????

It's likely there are a few plays designed for Caleb Hanie and he will only throw when they are 3rd and long or to surprise the Raiders on a 2nd and 6 where he will look to Knox or Bennett.

This game is going to be low scoring and the Bears will do what they need to win

it's time we let them settle out debate on the field...

on a side note:  line on this game is down to 3 already... i predict it will close at 1.5 or pick'em... and the guy who's bookie gave him Oakland (-1) will prove to be the genius i already said he is...

I have watched the Raiders do this to the Donkeys many times. They will stack the box and play man on the outside, single coverage.
They will dare the kid to beat them, if he cannot, Henne will have a long behind day.
That said, why do we all assume that Palmer can light up the Bears. This is a veteran team playing, great D again. They are underrated and have a great coach. This team only knows how to win ugly every week. Remember, this kid almost took them to the Super Bowl 9 about a year ago against the Pack, who was playing out of their minds at the time.
