I&#x27;&#x27;m probably not touching this game unless I get pushed over the edge and take the dive with KC. That said, regardless of who&#x27;s playing where and which QB is starting, it is extremely difficult to cover a 17 point spread. Just saying..

its not that difficult when a team cant score for example the lowly seahawks won by 17 on the road against stl yesterday because they could not put up points. and i have a feeling pats will put up at least 30 tonight.

Vegas knows who&#x27;s starting at QB, it&#x27;s factored into the line, it&#x27;s not like you found secret info that the book doesn&#x27;t know. &#xD;&#xA;2. Remind me, was anybody in that Seattle/STL game a 17 point favorite? If I remember correctly, it was a 3 pt spread played between divisional rivals. You might as well be bringing up MAC scores if this is what you base your argument on.

this reminds me of last mondays game. yeah, GB smacked the shit outta the vikes, but how many first downs on scoring drives were GIVEN to the pack from stupid penalties? i dont think we see more of that tonight. i&#x27;m probably not touching a side either. hate to back a backup QB in his first start in foxborough in primetime, but maybe that&#x27;s what vegas is banking on...people being scared to back a backup in primetime

my argument was based on you asking do you know how much has to go right for a team to cover 17 points and i used a game from yesterday showing not much. just need a team like kc who has been god awful without there backup qb playing the past few weeks playing one of the best offenses in the nfl on the road. tyler palko has no arm to throw the deep ball and cant scramble around. he is going to be a sitting duck and kc cant run the ball either. not saying its impossible but see a ugly game here like last monday night. once pats get up by two scores palko is going to make mistakes forcing the ball imo. good luck on your play if you do play it

Agreed.  I don&#x27;t have any numbers in front of me, but I&#x27;m pretty confident that teams that lay more than 10 points in NFL games having a losing record ATS.  I did hear the other day the average NFL game is decided by 6 points.

Think over 13 PTs in the 4th Quarter is the best bet out there...

Regardless of the score of the game, we know pats can score at will or score on D if somehow, someway its a close game.

When they are up by 20, Pats will of course play lax D and should permit an easy chiefs TD.

Pats scored in every 4th Q this year

14 vs. jets

17 v. nyg

7 v pitt

7 cowboys

7 v jets

7 v oakkland

7 v buffalo

15 vs SD

10 v. miami in opener

Point being:

Pats are not a dominant team that will hold a lead late by running the ball and melting clock. They do that, but will usually end up scoring a TD...Can see a 7-7 4th quarter or even 14-0 chiefs if they are gettting blown out that bad
