Yup, this looks like a completely different team with Tebow.  They looked like they were on life support with Orton.

“Tebow will never be a first round pick.”

“Tebow will never be a starting NFL QB.”

“Tebow will never win games as an NFL QB.”

“Tebow may have won a couple of games, but he can’t keep winning.”

Every time Tebow proves his haters wrong rather than man up and admit they were wrong they up their claims.

Maybe they should just say that Tebow won’t win league MVP this season so they can finally get one right.

I mean seriously: what offensive weapons does this kid have to use?

Hell, during his last win Denver lost their top 2 running backs in the first quarter.

I'm not of the belief that there are "bad wins" in the NFL. I.E. beating a few shitty teams does not discount what someone does.

I am of the belief that a really good, quality defense can overshadow an average to below average offense. I'm not knocking Tebow because he completed only 2 passes against the Chiefs.

I'm just not ready to call the kid a winner yet after 4 games this season and 2 or 3 last season. The potential is there for him to be a real winner and leader. You can just see a different attitude and mentality with the Broncos under Tebow as oppose to Orton.

I thought they should have started Tebow all season. Even if he isn't "your guy"(Fox's/Elways draft choice) I still think you should play him if the organization spent a 1st round pick on him.

But let's not confuse Tebow being on a winning team and Tebow leading his team to victory. Like I said before, Trent Dilfer is a Super Bowl winning QB. But I wouldn't say Trent Dilfer led his team to a Super Bowl. Ray Lewis and the Defense did that.

Dilfer was backed by one of the best defenses in NFL history.

Tebow is backed by a defense that is ranked 29th in the NFL this season.

Tebow has also guided his offense to more than 20 points once this season.

Like I said, let's give this thing for than 4 games to see how it plays out.

I actually believe he can be a productive NFL QB.

Agreed, I’m just not sure why you are acting like Denver has a “really good, quality defense” that is backing Tebow when the fact of the matter is they are ranked 29th in the NFL.

Also if Denver went 0-4 in Tebow’s starts you can bet your behind all the Tebow haters would be blaming it all on him (whether it was his fault or not).

Yet these same people refuse to give Tebow any credit when he leads a garbage team to victory on the road 3 times in a row.

So in a nutshell: if Tebow fails its 100% on him and if Tebow succeeds its 100% due to other people.

the 3 wins vs who? all suck behind team

darn tebow

hes not a nfl qb.

its an experiment right now

this is the nfl, expect teams who shouldnt win, win.

8 passes in the last game?

denver offense is like a 6th grade team

kansas city sucks

oakland is not that good.

got beat 10 to 45 at home vs the lions, lmao

miami lost the game, another horrible team

tebow will come back to .500 or below, only 7 more games to go

jets ... loss

chargers ... loss

at minnesota  ... loss

chicago ... loss

new england  ... loss

at buffalo ... losss

kansas city ... (maybe a win)

so 6 losses to come, maybe 1 win ...

4 - 7 as a starter, 7 weeks from now

tebow zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Interesting how you completely omit the fact that Tebow plays on a suck team with almost no offensive weapons and a defense that ranks 29th in the NFL.

The fact of the matter is Tebow lead a terrible 1-4 team to 3 straight road wins.  I don’t care who they played, that is impressive.

Also as a starter this season Tebow has a TD/turnover ratio of 9:1.

Besides Aaron Rodgers I don’t think there is a starting NFL QB with a better ratio this season.  If there is, please post him.

Does every NFL QB have a TD/turnover ratio of 9:1 or better?

Besides Aaron Rodgers this season, post another one.

Tebow haters =

i agree that is impressive. I think tebow is a good role model and he seems like a good guy but i just think the wheels are going to come off soon, his team is really bad. They dont have a lot of weapons on this team. I still dont think tebow is going to be a first string QB in this league in a couple years, maybe even next year..

I just said that a good, quality defense can overshadow an average offense. I didn't say Denver had one. Although they have put up quality efforts in two of Tebows wins.

If Tebow was losing games 45-38 I would still be giving him credit for his performance. Clearly that would be the defenses fault.

I give him credit for winning under John Fox as well. I think that guy is a moron. I think if Tebow was able to learn under a quality coach in a stable in environment where there wasn't so much turnover in staff so far in his career he would be much further along.

If you’re going to attempt to talk intelligently about a matchup it might be a good idea to know what day the game is being played.

His WRs might not like it, but his teammates and especially Denver fans would much rather have a QB that completes 10 passes a game with a TD/TO ratio of 9:1 and just finds ways to win games over a QB that completes about 18 passes a game with a TD/TO ratio of 8:9 and just finds ways to lose games.

It certainly seemed like that’s what you were saying in post #78.

But I do agree that if Tebow had a decent head coach and a team that was at least average he would be much further along.

People keep talking about the bad teams Tebow beat while completely failing to mention that Tebow PLAYS ON a bad team.  Hell, they are so bad they were underdogs in all of his games.

Tebow has started 4 games this season all of which Denver was a dog.

He is 3-1 ATS and 3-1 SU.

Not a bad bet, IMO.
