NFL Week 4 Picks

23-8-1 74.19% for the season

1. Tampa Bay -10

2. New England -4

3. Green Bay -13

4. Carolina +6.5

5. St. Louis pk

6. Houston -4

7. Tennessee +1

8. Detroit +1.5

9. Philadelphia OTB

10. Baltimore -3.5

The games are based on a system.  Details in the systems and strategies forums.  Philly is currently OTB but I will be taking them as soon as the line is posted, most likely at -9.  I will update the line on that game when I put it in.

The two i'm really not sure about is the Buccaneers -10 and Packers -13, especiallly with such a high stake. Do you really think they will cover with such a high spread?

like all the other plays though

Yeah, I did end up seeing that after my post, sorry for the clutter.  Thanks again, I'm already on a couple of your plays.

What do you make of this trend stats?

Indianapolis @ Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay is 1-7 ATS in the first of back-to-back home games

makes me a little uncomfortable backing the bucs on such a big line, same as what i said before but i saw this trend which doesnt help

 much

I do not put much weight into trends like this.  You can go to the matchups on covers and click on trends and there will be numerous trends that you can use for either team in a game.  Like these

  • Buccaneers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win.
  • Buccaneers are 6-1-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
  • Buccaneers are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games in Week 4.
  • Buccaneers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall
Those mean nothing to me either.

I can not guarantee a TB win but I can tell you the probability of them covering is high so they warrant a bet.  For you guys who play poker I am sure you have lost with a set to a flush draw many times.  Well that's what we have in this game (almost).  Let's hope we are not sucked out on.

Cincy was actually close to being a play but they fell just short so no play on the game.
