#5 Posted: 8/29/2011 8:24:37 PM 165 i respect your opinion but I haven't seen a single thing in however many years to make me believe Eli Manning is a top 5 qb, including the dropped interception he threw that should've ended the super bowl. |

#6 Posted: 8/29/2011 8:25:02 PM You are all crazy!!!
Cutler has ZERO O-Line
Alex Smith pretty bad, but have you been watching this decision making by ELI. double, triple coverage passes. HORRIBLE. Niners should have pushed for Kolb.
Underratted I call BULLSHIT!!!!

EXACTLY!!!!
His whole game plan for this season is to not put himself in these situations, He's already done it twice tonight in the first half. He's lucking he has Manning as his last name otherwise he is a NOBODY!!!! |

#11 Posted: 8/29/2011 10:03:57 PM If eli's last name was not manning he would not get the publicity that he gets now. Very over rated but has won a super bowl so i give him that.

#12 Posted: 8/29/2011 11:41:26 PM Eli Manning is like rolling dice. When it gets hot, he plays like an elite QB. Tonight he played like crap.

Devils, any chance your team beats out the Pens or Flyers for the Atlantic Division this season?

#18 Posted: 8/30/2011 2:52:09 AM He plays the same way he played in college. He has always been a hit or miss player. He takes chances that most Quarterbacks will not and when he had Plexico he always had somebody to bail his behind out. Now he has to be more accurate with his throws and that is what is catching up to him. Eli cant play small ball, not his personality. He like to throw the ball up for grabs and he like to take chances. He played the exact same way at Ole Miss.....I stay away from him cause one week he plays well and the next week he stinks...You never know which Eli is going to show up....

#19 Posted: 8/30/2011 7:02:09 AM Eli stinks plain and simple. Ive never liked him never will. Nicks is like 6 6 and he still over throws him. He either over throws or under throws. Ive never seen him hit a man in stride. I think its because that neck of his leans to the side. All of his pictures on his wall lean crooked and he thinks their straight.lol... I would much rather have david carr back there. He throws a much better ball and i regret the day we traded rivers for eli. Stupid mistake. |

Top 5? In the New York area? I don't think he is terrible, but he is not better than Romo etc.
