THE COLTS are hosting the bowl so no team ever plays at home in the super bowl
however last year Cowboys went kaboom out of the gate
usually these teams hosting do great until final 3 weeks and they miss the playoffs
expect colts early to do well as long as they stay healthy
They started 0-2 went 1-7 before winning two in a row and finished 5-11 
Ya they were so banged up this year missing at least 4 or 5 key players every game. They better also get Joseph Addai signed he is a free agent.

Look at where the super bowl is hosted the majority of the time. They omitted (until now) every cold weather state. It was basically a rotation between Detroit (never been good), New Orleans (bad history, usually not good), and Miami (haven't been good for a while).
The colts need a couple of offensive lineman, and a playmaker on defense to become relevant. Otherwise they're gonna revert back to Manning's earlier years where they were winning 45-35 every game.

Pasadena 5 times
San Diego 3 times
LA 2 Times
Tampa Bay 4 times
Atlanta 2 times
All other sites have only had it once. So those teams accont for 36 of the 46 total super bowls.
So how does this not illustrate my point that the SB home team theory is a MYTH because many of the teams that ALWAYS get to host the super bowl have a history of not being good.
So how often has a team hosted the super bowl that has been good? It has only been in recent years with Dallas and Indy hype that you think every team chokes.

THE colts realy won that divsion now Jags have no pure pro player QB or top wr's Texans no defense Titans now without Jeff fischer and really no QB's to speak off YUP colts win div and could go deep in playoffs if all games at home !

also there were other teams that were GOOD that fell apart at end when hosting the bowl
Tampa bay for one lost final 4 games only needed to WIN one game to make playoffs !
Dolphins years ago damn close in the 80's didnt make it i thnk they lost it in 2nd round of playoffs !
