Pittsburgh +3 (-114) & ML +140

Leaned Pittsburgh before the games were even played today and had to fire at these numbers.

Heard the same thing with the Packers today, Bears last week, Ravens the week before that. All cashed.

I hit em ML at +135.

 

Am I the only one completely surprised GB opened up -2.5/3?  I was ready to unload on anything under Pitt -3 and I thought for sure it would be Pitt -2.5 to open.

I could always buy out of this bet if it comes to it, but for now I am pretty happy.

I agree.  Though PIT would open -2.5 or -3.  Plus anything for PIT is unfreakin believable value.

The goal is to get even action on both sides. My assumption is that if the Packers opened up as +3 +135 or so. They would get hammered. This way I think the money will be a lot more even on both sides.

We've got two weeks to try to talk ourselves out of it and work on picking out some sweet props.

At this price it's very hard to pass up on Pit...even though im been riding the Pack train since week 1 and was planning on taking them again...Pit +3 is great value

I thought even before today we might see GB -1 or even 2 just based on the playoff odds to win the Super Bowl as Green Bay was actually favored.

The game was a pick em for a while but the juice just kept going up the on the Packers. Then it went to 2.5 -125 and about -150 on the ML so I thought shit, time to fire!

I think if I'm booking this game it is a pick, and I'd adjust according to the money coming in. The fact that it came out GB-2.5 tells me the book wants PITT money. Also remember Pouncey went down with what looks like a bad injury.................GIVE ME  the PACKERS.....I will wait though because I would bet GB-3,and there's no way it goes over 3 !

Very surprising to me that Pack are favored.  Steelers win a much tougher AFC and open as underdog?  Watching the direction of this line will be interesting.

The Pouncey injury is really the only big concern for me at this point.

you should wait on that line... it will either stay at that or go up so there is no risk on waiting it out.. i think this line will be at least Pitt +3 (+100) within the next couple days and i wont be shocked if it hits Pitt +3.5 by next weekend..
