They are getting all their weapons back, just in time for the playoff and will tear the doors off all these AFC teams. They have the defense, and will step it up for the playoffs. That's my sleeper.

i think i'm the biggest Colts homer on these boards and I even know its not happening this year. When you say they are getting all their weapons back, do you even know what you are talking back? Collie, Gonzalez, and Bob Sanders are all on the IR and are not coming back. Manning will be throwing to Garshit and undrafted Blair White all playoffs long, which if they are lucky, will last maybe until the 2nd round.

Come on, they are getting their running game back. It will add another dimension to their heavy passing game. I know there is no replacing Dallas Clark, but when has Sanders been healthy for an entire season? Gonzales isn't there, but Manning will have Wayne and Garshit to throw to. Jets won big today against Buffalo, now have to go on the road to play Indy at home. All Colts have to do is win and go on the road to either Pitt or NE. NE is beatable, their defense is young. Pitt is more of a challenge, but they have a crappy FG kicker, they just took out the hapless Browns by about 7 touchdowns, should be time for a letdown game or even a loss.

It's quite crazy how people don't realize that Colts could have been been 12-4 in a snap of a finger. Peyton had by far and I mean miles far the worse 3 game stretch of his career. If Hayden and Session can come back next week, that's two starters back on defesne.

Upper Deck Guru............the Colts have given up 28.5 PPG in their last 6 against SD,Dallas,Tenn(twice), Oakland and Jax................a nice murders row lineup that did not make the playoffs...........with a snap of a finger, that defense will be corrected Saturday.................Jets +points and ML

ok, so... alot of bashing about your take on the Colts... i want to touch on your comment that "if Hayden and Sessions come back" that will shore things up on defense...
my question is: how big of an IF is that? do you have any reason at all to believe they will, or if they will be remotely effective, given your advice to bet on them to win the SB?
i'm a pretty big Colts fan, and if they start to put it together i will be rooting for them... the year the Colts won the Super Bowl they were way under the radar, and i bet them in every single game of that run, including a big bet on them in the Super Bowl... i knew they were still a very good team, that could beat anybody...
this is not the same situation, at all... from everything i've seen, this team is a dead duck heading into the playoffs... they are poised to do nothing but go home early...
now, IF Hayden and Sessions both come back this week, and can actually play somewhat effectively, that could give them a fighting chance against the Jets... but is that even a realistic possibility?
