I've been taking Detroit on Thanksgiving and getting buried for the past 6 years.  What's the difference this time against the best coach and QB in the league?

agreed. detroit will cover and have a chance to win outright. the lions could easily be 6-2 right now

Similar to when the Eagles were favored by 3.5 over the Redskins and the Giants and easily covered both. Sometimes it is just that easy.

No Stafford No Best. New England will have to blow this game for the Lions to cover.

It does look to easy, but sometimes that in it self is the trick.

Last week the squares were on: ATL,GB, DAL, PHI, INDY, BAL, NO, SD, PIT,CHI, KC  etc.... all the too good to be true and they all came in.  Why can't the best team of the last decade beat the worst team of the decade by a TD?

For all of you that are taking the Patriots, think twice. Sometimes what you see can hurt you. Yeah i know Brady is good and the Lions just suck. But Vegas knows something that you all don't know. If you've been doing this business long enough like me then you know who i should be taking......DETROIT! Yeah the past Turkey seasons the Lions had been blown out. But not tomorrow guys. Just watch tomorrow and you'll know what i'm talking about.

First of all I'm on the Pats hands down or no play. Why the heck do people come into these threads and say the outlandish shit that they do? No bet in gambling is a lock, but this one looks pretty good. My take is that some tout people roll up in here on some aliases to get some money rolling the other way, OR some wanna be touts think they're wise just by saying "you're going with that team so I'm going with this one!" I hate posting at all but felt this was necessary

All this talk about how all these square picks covered on Sunday. Yes, it was a very public week, but how often have the square picks been winning throughout the whole season? Logically, there has to be some weeks where the obvious picks win.

You think just cuz the obvious picks won last week that they're gonna consistently win for the rest of the year?

With that said, Thanksgiving is an exception. The public usually wins on Thanksgiving. Consider it a gift that vegas does once every year. Dallas is usually good, and Detroit usually gets blown out of the water. However, it is a down year for Dallas, and an unusually up year for Detroit ATS. Keep the bets small, don't stress, and enjoy time with your family and dinner. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday guys.
