Locking in this now... will repost this on my Sunday thread later this week.
I know this is a square play but who gives a shit... McCarthy is 4-0 OVER in his last four road openers. Rodgers will be facing a rebuilt Eagles secondary but aside from Samuel there's not too much to be afraid of. Ellis Hobbs has played his way into the starting job after being a career nickel back. Nate Allen is a promising rookie but a rookie at that and he ain't never seen a passing game like the Packers at USF. Our linebackers are better at stopping the run than the pass and as long as Rodgers gets protection, he can carve up this defense. The Eagles were pretty vanilla in the preseason giving the impression that Kolb might be below average but I think he and the rest of the youngsters show up tonight. It's certainly easier to get up for a game when you're playing a potential Super Bowl contender than say the Rams.
