LOL... if that defense wins a Superbowl any time soon I will eat my computer.  Sounds like you are talking with your heart and not head.  Frankly I like the Bears better than anyone out of the NFC Central.

My prediction is New England.  Should be healthy to make another run.  If not New England than I will go with Baltimore.  In either event both have a strong defense, a capable QB, and a good running game.  GB has only 1 of three 3 covered.

Not a terrible bet to make now but I agree with jerson you gotta wait and see if that D has improved at all. Their offence will be leathal I will be taking a lot of overs in Packers games this year. The Pats are gonna have a big down year in my opinion. I like the Titans right now, great value with them at 36-1 Hopefully they start the season like they finished last year.

Half of the cheat's team are over the hill, by week 12 they'll be gassed.

We have no idea how Welker's injury will affect him, Tom's getting old, their running game is garbage, and their secondary is garbage.... and they play in the second toughest division in football.

No chance, methinks youre just looking at past 'success'... you know, when they used to videotape walkthroughs and cheat their way through games.

14th/NFL last year 116.8, middle of pack. Still there are games when their run-game was non-existent.

They've never had a balanced offense, it's always "spread it out and let Tom throw." So predictable. Just mix it up, show Tom a lot of different looks in both 3-4 and 4-3, some zone blitzes, and you take him out of rhythm and off his game.

Got news for you, Randy Moss is getting old, and he'll be getting owned on Revis Island twice again this year. Welker injury issues, and old men tory holt/david patten will be the answer! LOL

Welker is still a big if, no idea how injury will affect him this year, see by end of training camp. Still he's not going to be effective underneath anymore because if he runs those routes he'll continue to get BEAT UP by MLB's and thatll be the end of his season.

A RB corps full of banged up old men, EVERY SEASON they complain about injuries at that position.

If i were a Cheats fan I wouldnt worry about trying to win a Super Bowl, I'd be praying that miami runs into some regression this year and NE luckboxes their way into second in the east and maybe gets the wild card to the playoffs.

I really have to laugh at some of these Jets fans, one half decent season in the past ten years( still came in second ) and all of a sudden they act like they are the team that has owned the division for ten years. The Jets wouldn't even have been in the playoffs last year if Cincy and Indy didn't mail in the last two games.SANCHEZ SCARES NO ONE,well maybe he scares smart Jet fans.

J-E-T-S of course

Think there is value on the Bears @ 40:1, and Tenny @ 35:1

Like teams that underperformed last season coming in under the radar, just like the Saints did last year.

Solid argument, great job refuting mine

Im sure the guys on NFL network always say "SANCHEZ SCARES NO ONE" when trying to make a case against the Jets, a very cogent argument indeed.

I said NE mostly because EVERY TIME and I mean EVERY TIME people count them Tom Brady and Billacheat always finds a way to take the team deep in the playoffs if not the Superbowl.  I not like using the DUE statement but this team is overdue.

Fair enough.  I know a bit about that too.  At least you have Matty Ice to build a team around.  Us Vikings fans are screwed long term.  BOL but honestly only GB fans ever seem to think they can win it all.  Just figured you were one of those strange ducks.  LOL!

Sadly MDAAKD I do.  MIN never and I mean NEVER does well as a favorite.  Whenever they are expected to do well they fall flat on their face.  GB has a very average at best defense that has the tendency of starting well but fall flat on their face as the season wears on and especially in the playoffs.  If CHI can muster any degree of a passing game to keep the defenses honest with that rushing game and that defense (of course health is always any issue there) not only do I think they can win the division but make a deep playoff run.

jesron - We were the favorite to win the division last year and we faired pretty well I believe.  It will be a two horse race with the Vikings and Packers.  The Lions are improving and I think they will hurdle the Bears this season.  The Bears still have way too many holes to fill and FA isn't the way to fill them.  Teams that try to fill many holes (ie DE, RB, blocking TE, S) don't succeed the next year because they are new blood.  They lost Brown and Ogunleye, where will hurt them this year.  They also haven't addressed that horrid offensive line.  Adding Tice is a plus though.  They have a horrible secondary and adding Chris Harris/drafting Major Wright isn't going to get it done.
