ESPN says Broncos QB Kyle Orton will be a game-time decision but the Denver Post said on Saturday that it would take an “overnight medical miracle” for Orton’s ankle game ready.
That means bettors should expect to see Phil Simms under center against the San Diego Chargers. Simms looked awful last week in relief but he did play well in the preseason.
The Broncos are 5.5 home dogs with the total set at 41.5.
