Why is everyone so sure Oakland covers against Cincy.....

I can't believe so many people are on here thinking Oakland will cover the 9.5 against Cincy.  Last week i could understand a little that Green Bay would cover against Dallas but still shouldn't have happened.  But then again Dallas is inconsistent.  I know Benson is out but the big thing here is Cincy's defence.  They held the Super Bowl Champs to 12 pts and they actually have an offence.  I can't se Oakland scoring a pt against this D and so if Cincy can some how muster up 10 they cover.  A bit of an exageration but i think you get the pt.

Your actually giving Oakland 3 pts.  I think the Bengal D may shut them out.

Potential trap: On the surface, the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders shouldn’t be a close contest, right? The Raiders are 2-7 and starting quarterback Bruce Gradkowskiagainst the first-place Bengals (7-2). But when you look deeper, consider the fact that Cincinnati has never won in Oakland in eight attempts. The Bengals are coming off a huge emotional win over the Pittsburgh Steelers (letdown factor?), and starting tailback Cedric Benson is not expected to play with a hip injury. This has all the makings of a trap game in the NFL. The Bengals have been a mature team all season. Winning in Oakland for the first time would be another huge step in that maturation process.

Letdown.  I don't think the  Bengals bust their asses to beat Baltimore twice and Pittsburgh twice to go out to Oakland and lay an egg.  Still think they win this game fairly easily.

What about the egg Cinci layed at home against the Texans.  It's just the long trip west and I don't think cinci is to pumped to play a 2-7 Raiders unlike Steelers and Baltimore Division rivals. I won't touch this game. Better games on the board but GL.

Texans are actually a good team. Raiders blow.  But who knows maybe Gradkowski is the savior of Oakland. doubt it

With three cupcakes coming up, this is Cincy's chance to take a commanding lead in their division.  If they don't look ahead, they win this one easily.  If they decide to take the day off, it could be an ugly game on both sides in which case the Raiders have a chance to cover.

The eagles thought they just had to show up in the bigity O look what they got a big L .No jamarcus russel to hand  the kittys the ball, will my Raiders win probably not can they cover, if they play  like  the team that showed up twice against k.c.   s.d  & philly yes. You will probably get your cover but , being a homer i gotta root for my boys  and hope we can upset the kitties from cincy

Noone PLANS to lay an egg, it just happens.......quite often the week after an emotional game....I dont think Cincy loses.....just dont think they'll cover (unless the RBs make up for the loss of Benson)

CINCY IS 0-7-1 ATS after facing Pittsburgh the past 4+ years. It's a flat spot for the Bengals and they now travel cross country.

Raiders on the $$$$ Line is a decent bet. They do it every year, the Raiders win games they are not supposed to and then lose every other game.
