#1 Posted: 11/3/2009 11:16:20 AM Someone please explain to me why I shouldn't take M. Schabb +350ML on Sunday. The nine is a given, yet I still see Indy going down In their own house. I think this will be Houstons statement game. This is he first time in their 10 year existance, where they actually have a legitimit shot of contending for a wildcard! The loss of the TE is a concern, and a hobbled A.J. yet they continue to get the job done...
BTW, doesn't Peyton play Brady next week? Look ahead anyone?
+9 is a JOKE!!!!!

#3 Posted: 11/3/2009 11:28:24 AM Owen Daniels will not be playing. That's a HUGE weapon and a big piece of the Texans offense.
Slaton is a mess right now with the fumbles as well.
I hope you hit, but I think I will be on +9 with you at least
+350 is hard to pass up though

#4 Posted: 11/3/2009 11:43:50 AM The stats favor Houston +9, but I wouldn't touch this game. Ordinarily, I would estimate the line at around Houston +7, but:
1) Unlike most teams, the receiving corps is the heart of the Houston team. 2) TE Owen Daniels was in the pro-bowl last season, and he's out. 3) WR Andre Johnson is not 100%; he's probable. 4) The Houston receiving corps is/was strong, but there is almost no depth.
This is enough to make me walk away from this bet.

#5 Posted: 11/3/2009 11:44:21 AM OK. No Owen Dainels. So what...
Who will be starting for Indy at the CB postion? KELVin Hayden hurt his left knee vs 49ers AND recieved a concussion! MARlon Jackson has also missed the last two games also. So "WE" Get M. Schabb vs some ROOKIE cb's???
The Colts a 7-0 vs teams with a combined record of 17 - 33!! ONLY ARizona had a winning record at 4-3. Colts have only won by less than 6 in the past five matchups!!! And should yhave LOST the last meeting if not for that B.Farves backup being a FUCK UP!!!
This has Goya Bean written all over it.....

#11 Posted: 11/3/2009 1:19:42 PM The bigger question to me, besides the injuries, when going against Mannining is can the defense of Houston confuse him and/or put pressure on him. I had the 49er's last week and they did a great job, on the defensive side, of keeping Manning guessing and had just enough pressure to keep him off balance. So WussieMan, how is the Houston defense and do they have anyone that can get to Manning?? That's ultimately how you're going to beat the Colts. I'd take Houston anyday if they can get to Manning! |

Didn't they WASTE a 1st round draft pick on some bum named Demario Williams for that purpose |

#23 Posted: 11/3/2009 8:42:37 PM The only thing that would worry me is that the Colts got a nice jolt of reality last week and almost lost to the 49ers because they had to kick 4 field goals. I see them working very hard this week to make sure they get the TD's in the RedZone and start putting games away again. |

#24 Posted: 11/3/2009 8:45:09 PM Noneedforluck, Colts will lose a game or two or three this year, but watch out on Saints, their schedule is soft and they may do 16-0. Do you think they will cover the 14 (that's the line I saw) against Panthers? I also think Texans could win here, but they have been very inconsistent, probably more likely to lose close game like the 2 they played last year. Look ahead games aren't usually with divisional opponents. |
