I totally disagreed with the decision made by San Fran's management. If the kid is that cocky, let him sit out the whole year and send him back to the draft. On the other hand, I don't think you could blamed him, and should blamed the agent for brainwashing him with stupid ideas. Well, all said and done, and we can't do anything about it. Hope he can live up to his ego and perform at the level he think he could. Hope the defense is not pissed at him for his ego and injure the poor kid during practice.

Being cocky is the last thing SF is worrying about. Singletary can handle all of that. As far as the fans........just keep winning, and all that bad press goes away, Ala Ocho and Owens. Fans have a short memory when these guys catch TD's. No, the biggest problem for the 49ers is an offensive line. Hill gets sacked about 4 times a game. Even Joe Montana would have a hard time with those stats. Give Hill a line that gives him time to throw, and all is forgiven.

Well, that certainly worked, didn't it, Diva? Great advice from your agent, which got you not one cent more.........
Flushing him back into the draft would not have helped the Niners, they would have ended up wasting a draft pick. He'll come back after the bye week.
What this does do, is send a couple of messages.
1. Holding out doesn't do you any good, you go where you're slotted.
2. If your agent is Eugenius Parker, watch your stock drop when a team finds out he represents you. You will get drafted later, and what goes on when that happens? Ask Crabtree......
