3U 1/2 this bet is because Indy is my team, other 1/2 is because I think they have a legit shot this year. I'll keep my reasonings short n sweet.
Manning. Enough said, best QB of the decade in terms of performance, confidence, intelligence. I've never seen him look as poised as he is right now and I've seen most of his games since '01. His drive for this game is ridiculous, always focused, can never count out the Colts in any situation with him at the helm.
Colts are loaded with injuries right now. Sanders, Gonzo, Hayden (underrated), Brackett and now Freeney for a couple weeks. Our defense is going to look much crisper with those four back all at once. Gonzo was imo and many others primed for a breakout year and it was tough to see him go down. The result? Manning turned Garcon into a "little monster" at wideout.
Donald Brown. Watching him last game made me piss my pants a lil. It's only the start of the year but he will be RB1 by midseason and that only excites us Colts fans. Addai has been looking decent nonetheless too.
What am I gonna hear most about the Colts not winning? Probably 3 things. 1, Colts have faced shit teams this year, stop boosting them off a 3-0 start. 2, Colts can't stop the run. 3, Mannings sucks while playing in the elements. All of these are legit concerns but I'm not too worried. This is prolly where my 1/2 of the bet for the love of my team comes in. Looking at the schedule, I see a legit chance for the Colts to go 13-3, in hopes of grabbing a first rd bye. Once that happens, I can even look to hedge for guaranteed money cuz 15-1 is good value.
I appreciate criticism, please share your opinions...thanks the for read.

very good team right now, probably the best in the NFL after 3 weeks no doubt about it. Them and the Saints would be fun to watch, RIGHT NOW, but I don't think the Saints will be there...Colts a strong chance, but it is still September.

I took the Ravens at 18-1 and they are now 6-1. Anyone heard of a site that you can play future bets like the stock market? It sounds interesting, but I dont know what its called.

Sorry typo above...but yea I was gonna say no team scares me right now than the Ravens. Nevermind any NFC team, the Ravens are the only reason why I would've hesitated to make this bet. You got a monster defense that are now offensive juggernauts as well. Ravens are very intimidating...So are the Jets if Sanchez continues to play well and build on this great start he has

Can't deny that the Ravens have been impressive. I feel as if both the Colts and Ravens still have something to prove because they have yet to play a top tier team.
Indy gets put to the test against Tenessee in W5 who will be 1-3 or 0-4, so they will be really hungry for this division rivarly game
Ravens first test will be Minnesota W6 (sorry the Pats dynasty is done, get over it), as Flacco actually faces a defense for once
Both teams square off in W11, should be a very interesting matchup

jags, cards, and fins are just slightly better and raven have smashed all of them colts struggled with fins til last 2 min, and won by 2 vs jags
Ravens have scored 30+ each game
There's no way you put any of those 3 teams on the Colt's level. Except for maybe the jags, cards and fins have one good yr in god knows how long...Colts are contenders every year
