Good Afternoon,
 
First of all I just want to say that I bet for entertainment purposes only and only bet the Point Spread lottery here in Ontario Canada.  The lines are from the OLG Point Spread site as well.  Here is my crazy 10 game parlay for Week 1:
 
JAK @ IND -7.5  Pick: IND
 
DET @ NWO -13.5  Pick: NWO
 
NYJ @ HOU -4.5  Pick: HOU
 
KC @ BAL -13.5  Pick: KC
 
MIN @ CLE +5.5  Pick: MIN
 
MIA @ ATL -4.5  Pick: ATL
 
WAS @ NYG -7.0  Pick: WAS
 
SF @ ARZ -7.5  Pick:  SF
 
CHI @ GB -3.5  Pick: CHI
 
SD @ OAK +10.5  Pick: SD
 
There you have it folks...the crazy 10 game parlay for Week 1.  I spent $5 to win $2000...Wish me luck!

How exactly does the point spread lotto work?  What's the minimum number of teams you have to play?

Basically there is a lottery Kiosk in almost every convenient store and gas station here in Ontario where you can play this sports lottery.  You have to fill out a special Point Spread game card and you have to pick a minimum of 2 games.  Minimum bet is $2.  The more teams you bet on the higher the payout factor.  For example if you took 2 games for $2 the payout factor is only 2x your wager so you can double your money if you win both games.  If you spent the maximum $100 and took 2 games and won both the payout is still 2x your wager so you would win $200.  My 10 game ticket is 400x my wager of $5.  I hope I explained that clearly cause it can get confusing.

Well that's cool, better than no sports betting at all!   I admire canada for their progressive laws.  Hows the economy doing up there?

The economy is actually doing quite well.  We didn't take as big of a hit as the US so they announced that the recession was over for us a few weeks ago.  I lost my job back in June when it was really bad here and was very lucky to find another job as quickly as I did.  I know people that got cut that are still looking for work but it's starting to pick up so it shouldn't be too much longer for them.

Good looking card - but I think I am on the other side of the Jax game-
The Colts have a lot of injuries on the D side - which is going to hurt their already stellar run D -
Yes, Jax is young, especially on the O-line, but I don't think that hurts them here.  These teams always play close -

GL man, did you see the updated lines that have SF as +9.5 dogs? may have to jump on that

Yes I saw that and I'm kicking myself for jumping on it early.  All the rest of the line movements I'm happy I got in on early.  That Zona one really pissed me off though hehehe.

The only reason I hopped on Indy is because I am a firm believer in the passing game and I worked out the passing averages for both teams by taking their YPP offence and subtracing that from the YPP Defence and I got a +1.29 for IND and a -2.1 for JAK.  That's what sealed the deal for me.  Hopefully it holds up.

Good call on that Indy/Jacks game man, I should have listened on that one.  I have a chance to go 6-5 on the week if SD covers.  Week 1 is always hard to predict so I think I will have a better handle on things for Week 2.  I'll post my picks on Wednesday.
