Revenge's 2009 Season Predictions

It's almost football time!  Can't wait for the best 5 months of the year to get underway.  Let's get to my first picks of the year.
 
AFC East Champion - New England Patriots
This one's a no brainer.  Patriots are the best team in the NFL to start the season.  Miami is in their "sophomore" season so to speak and I have a personal gambling rule - "every sophmore slumps".  Same goes for Arizona, Tennessee, Atlanta & Baltimore.
 
AFC North Champion - Pittsburgh Steelers
The surprise of the AFC will be the Cininnati Bengals.  I see the Bengals getting a wildcard but the Steelers run away with the division.  I think the Steelers have a great shot at 14, 15 wins.  And it pains me to say that, I hate the Steelers.
 
AFC South Champions - Indianapolis Colts
Second wildcard will come from the South in the form of the Houston Texans.  Tennessee's biggest problem will be a clash at RB, the egos are getting big.
 
AFC West Champions - San Diego Chargers
This may be over by Week 11.
 
NFC East Champions - Dallas Cowboys
I have both the Eagles AND Giants getting wildcards with the Skins being 7th in the NFC.  I really like the owboys' approach this season, watch out for this team.
 
NFC North Champions - Chicago Bears
Favre will decline in December for a 4th straight season and will gift wap the division to the Bears.  I just don't like the Packers this year.  First year in a new defensive scheme could be big trouble.
 
NFC South Champions - New Orleans Saints
Six of the Saints' eight losses last year were by 5 points or less.  Only three of their eight wins were by that same margin.  This is a very good team & people just aren't noticing.
 
NFC West Champions - Seattle Seahawks
Houshmandzadah was the biggest acquisition in the NFL the past offseason.  The offense is gonna be explosive & teh defense good enough to win a weak division.
 
AFC Champions - New England Patriots
 
NFC Champions - Dallas Cowboys
 
Super Bowl Champions - New England Patriots
 
NFL MVP - Drew Brees
 
NFL Coach of the Year - Marvin Lewis in a hair over Mike Tomlin

Sup guys, it's my first post here.  Was referred to Covers by a friend.  Anyways I've been betting on games for like 3 seasons and had no real luck until last year when a friend of mine introduced me to more resources online for stats and such, and showed me how to find games where "fading the public" was favorable.  It's not as accurate as I would like but it's a helluva lot better than I was on my own.  Anyways if you guys have any good "strategies" or tips, feel free to help me out. 

Anyways not trying to hi-jack the thread.  Just wanted to chime in and say I think San Diego is finally going to win it all this year.  I'm not really a Chargers fan, but I think their talent finally wins out this year.  I think my Cowboys have a chance this year if they leave the ball in the hands of Barber and Jones and not stray from the running game.  If the ball ends up in Romo's hands too often then there's not a chance that we'll be going anywhere but fishing.
