I'm sick of the media B.S. as well, but it's a free country and he's a better option then MN currently has.  I'm also tired of the Vick B.S.....just tune it out.

I wouldn't go that far. I don't want Farve to break his neck, or ANYONE to break their neck. I just wouldn't want that kind of pain on anybody. I agree with most people on this subject. I thought when he announced his retirment with the Packers it was over. But, he wanted to go just one more year in the NFL with the Jets. I thought "well let him have his fun one more year." And now this! In my opinion he should have just retired a Packer. And I ALWAYS thought that's how it was going to be, it just doesn't seem right that he's on the Vikings. He doesn't gain anything from it but money and publicity. But, he also loses respect from many fans and I hope he notices that one day. It's just sad that he didn't retire a Packer after all those great memories with that organization. Besides, what does Childress think bringing Farve in the picture helps. He is older and already peaked. So if he doesn't choose to retire next season I would reach a boiling point with him.

 I hate the Favre B.S. just as much as the next person but would never wish that upon my worst enemy.

Favre hated being in the Jets training camp last season and of course he wasn't about to go to the Vikings training camp, so he waited till the time was right and bam!!! He's a Viking.

He's like the boy who cried wolf. I'm pretty sure next season when he retires for the third time he will wait until training camp is almost over and unretire again and play for the Browns and so forth until it will come to the point that no one will give a crap when he announces his "real" retirement and no one will even notice that he is not playing anymore.

If and when he makes it to the Hall of Fame they should let him attend the ceremony for his induction and change their minds and give him another year to be inducted to the Hall. They should do that to him at least twice.

Apparently, some people forget how he never said, "never."  He said, "as of right now, I'm still retired."  He even said, "if someone calls November 1st, you never know."
 
Considering his track record, how can anyone be surprised?  The fact that it gets under peoples' skins is hilarious.

Brett Favre is going to be like John Smoltz guys... he'll keep going and going, but he will start sucking REAL BAD.  It's like that old beat up car you know you need to throw away but never do and it drives worse and worse as you keep driving it.  Favre will be "Mr. Pick" this year, you watch.

Favre is a turnover machine.  If he isnt throwing int's, he's fumbling.

You cant win in the NFL with turnovers.

The lines will be inflated because he is in, and they will do worse with him than with Jackson or Sage.  Just my opinion of course....

I honestly think he knows what he kind of team he is on....he doesn't need to be the gun slinger.  Defense is very solid.  I'm not saying MN is SB bound and I do think the lines will be inflated, but I think 11 wins, a division championship, and a possible bye are possible.  MN won 10 games last year with trash at QB and they also get a pro bowl caliber middle linebacker back and add Harvin (call me an idiot, but I think he is going to be a factor barring injury....I'm not worried about the off the field stuff as much as some). 
 
And of course, it's just my opinion....but I don't consider myself that much of a homer.  If you can choke through your puke over the media B.S., this can be a fun year.

43, 31, 30, and 40....the number of attempts Favre had in the Jets final 4 losses.  When he was hurt. 
 
The more people continue to pile on, the more I think he can be serviceable....IF he's healthy.  25-15 is possible IMO and that is better then Jackson or Sage would do in my opinion.  We will see.

Favre or Tavaris, it doesn't matter who is QB, they'll throw a lot of picks. The only saving grace for the Vikings is they've got a great running game. The sportsbooks have taken the Vikes season win total off the board - I wonder if there'll be a new prop bet ' Combined INTs thown'

Funny I logged in to start a similar thread.  Sick of Favre and soooo sick of Vick.  Daunte fucking Stallworth killed a human being.  Vick killed dogs.  Yes dogs are cool and what he did was horribly cruel but compare a dog to a human life.  Stallworth should still be locked up and Vick should have played last year.
Just my opinion.  I wont go as far to say that I wish Favre gets hurt, I just want him to go away..............for good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first of all he doesnt make tha team any better than it is rite now.. rosenfels woulda gave u tha same numbers farve woulda gave them.. i"ll be tha one laughing if they dont win their division cuzz of him.. cuzz clearly their tha best team in tha divsion wit out him already..
