When did Jay Cutler become Joe Montana?

The hype about this guy is becoming nauseating.        Especially from Bears fans.   
 
 
Check the stats from last year.    LINK       
 
 
He was the 16th rated quarterback behind guys like Seneca Wallace and Shaun Hill and barely ahead of guys like Jake Delhomme, Jason Campbell and David Garrard.    
 
 
86 quarterback rating for last year which is not great.     25 TD's ,  18 Int's,   62% completions.     87 QB rating for his 3 years.
 
Aaron Rodgers in his first year playing had a 93 quarterback rating,  28 TD's , 13 Int's , 63% completions.   6th rated quarterback.      (Thats in comparison and for that WalterPayton poster who claimed the Bears now have the best QB in the NFC North    )
 
 
 
Get a grip people,  especially Bears fans,   Cutler is probably better than Orton but he ain't that great.    And he's a selfish crybaby on top of it.   
 
 
My opinion is the Bears got raped on this deal.    2 -#1's,  a #3, and Kyle Orton.    
 
 
And good luck next year when Cutler holds out and demands 10 million a year.    
 
 
 
I'm not saying he's horrible but geezuz ,  lets calm down about this guy.

He wont have the numbers in Chicago that he did in Denver with the style of offense they run there.

Oh and btw,  he's not going to be throwing to Brandon Marshall,  Eddie Royal,  Brandon Stokely,  and Scheffler this year.

Also, ever think that some things just never happen due to the environment/surroundings?

Example: Home run king for the Padres, Ace for the Rangers, Great QB numbers in Chicago

Almost exactly what I said in my post.       I swear I didn't read that before I made my post.     I don't think I have read any articles on this Cutler trade yet.     I don't want to vomit.

I dont care what the numbers say from last year i think hes the best qb in the nfc north. You dont know what your going to get with draft picks. At 25 cutler basically is a draft pick thats beginning to prove himself. Hes a good qb. Im not a bears fan so i dont care how he does but i think its a very good trade. I never said hes montana though

I would not be the least suprised if Kyle Orton,  playing in Denver with those recievers the Broncos have,   has a better year than Cutler next season.

Well he is a notch above Kyle, but lets see how he does with Lovie and not being able to free style as much as he did in Denver.

I imagine his pass attempts will go down by 30% and I am not so sure the Chicago OL is better than Denvers.

I guess we will just have to wait an see, but I have a feeling this will work out well for the bears and there will be alot of angry packers/viking fans at the end of the season

Well i disagree with you. You can laugh if you want but i know you hate the bears and are a stupid milwaukee wisconsin homer  so your going to bash it. Do you not remember cutler playing great at vanderbilt with NOTHING? Maybe he made marshall the reciever he is and not the other way around.  If you can upgrade with a young qb like that you have to do

Yea, I'm the stupid one when I backed up everything I said with stats.   

 

I suppose you think we should ignore the fact that Cutler threw 18 Int's last year the most in the league except for Brett Favre.   

You're right,  the numbers don't matter.

The picks will go down. Hes young it will happen. So you think the bears could be better with orton? Kyle orton isnt bad but hes not taking the franchise to the next level. Much better chance with cutler
