I don't know about Stafford being a "total" bust - but the reason that two QBs went high last year is that they knew this year was not going to be that great for QBs in th draft

Davis, tho, is an easy call. This guy should definitely have stayed in school

As far as the poster noting Harrell's performance in the Senior Bowl, skill positions (except RB, an instinctive position) in exhibition games mean nothing.

Harrell proved himself on the field.  A more valid critique than the  Senior Bowl is that any QB would have looked good with a Biletnikoff winner to throw to.

Still, I think Harrell will be a solid  and maybe superior NFL QB. Smart, accurate, good arm ----- spell his name S - T - E - A - L

Thats not real football they play at Tech. How many QB's from systems like that do anything in the NFL?  Take a look at Colt Brennan if you want to see what Harrell will be like.

Big big diff between Brennan and Harrell. Arm strength and height are just two.

True that Harrell comes from a passing system, and had a great WR.

But fooftball intelligence, ability to see the field, and arm strength are what differenitates him from past TT qbs.

I'm sure he'll be happy to sneak into first round.  And you will see several analysts use the "steal" word if he goes in 2nd or higher

Hoyer is a complete Bum ... not even sure he completed over 52% of his passes in college...

Stafford will throw almost twice as many INts and TD's in his forst 3 years ...

this by far is the weakest QB class going into the draft in 7+ years

That's something they should try and do, draft a QB in the later rounds, so odds are they won't and will pick a QB early.  With plenty of QB's coming out next year, they can take a later round guy this year and shore up much more needed positions in the early rounds.
