Performances in past Super Bowls or in Big Games are very important to note. It shows how someone handles the Pressure, Media, etc... It talks a lot about their mentality... These stats show me that he elevates his game in big games and that the odds of him "having a bad game" are low...

You forgot to include "Big" Ben's 2 interceptions and the fact that Lienart also played in this game. He had 14 attempts.
The key stat here is Big Willie's 37 yards on 19 carries.
I never said the Steelers cheated, I said the refs gave too many fishy calls favoring the Steelers, also, a team winning a Super Bowl with a Qb not throwing a td doesnt give me any confidence.
Tenn was a "terrible opponent" ? How so? Any one of those 4 teams would easily beat this years and 2006s offenseless Steelers....imo
He lead that O to a SB record for passing yards and TEN was a very good opponent, with a great D (Kearse in his prime, Blaine Bishop, etc), McNair and Eddie George in their prime and some great TE weapons.
The Rams' offense hardly ever did short passes. You must be confusing them with the 2008 Patriots. Anyone who has watched significant amounts of film on them knows they threw the mid range and deep ball more than short patterns. And the fact that the Rams usually did not run much in the playoffs to balance things out just makes his constant success against good Ds that knew what was coming all the more remarkable.
