To Hedge or Not To Hedge?

Fellow Degenerates got the Steelers 12/1 for 2 units back in late September to win Superbowl. They may have been 3-1 and Brady was out.  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Should I hedge wit a ML bet on AZ. ML rangin &#x2B;225-250 at various websites. I think the Steelers will win.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;If Hedge How much would you do? Can probably Guarantee about 12 to 14 units if my math is correct.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Anybody know what was Futures on PIT before season started. I think it changed when Brady went down as NE shot to 15/1.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;No Hedge= more adrenaline feeds the gamblin high; 24 units&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Hey a blind squirrel gets an acorn somedayz.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Thanks for any thoughts

I love futures and usually I don&#x27;t hedge.  In this situation though, I think I would put 2 or 3 units on Cards ML.  If the Cards win, you will still get a decent payday.  If the Steelers win, I doubt you would be sweating the 2 or 3 units lost and you will still get your adrenaline fix.

put 3 units on AZ &#x2B;7.5 ...buy hook if you have to....lock in a profit with a chance to win 27 units.....

Tease the Cards &#x2B;14 and over 39.5.. Cheer for some points, and you&#x27;ll always have the option to hedge at the half. Or better yet, if there are already say 20pts at the break, you will have lots of options to make say... 30 units? Now that&#x27;s superbowl betting!

I&#x27;m in the same position as you are. I put 50$ on Steelers to win SB in Sept at 18/1. This is what I did. I put 450$ on Arizona &#x2B;7. Therefore I am garanteed 400$ and have a shot at winning 1350$. i think this is the best way to go.
