I hear a lot about the Ravens Defense and how good they are. In fact I know a lot of people acutally think that the Ravens D is better then Pitt's D. No matter what people say, the stats and how they play on the field is all that matters. STEELERS HAVE A BETTER DEFENSE!!! In fact this season, they have one of the top 5 defenses of all time.
They allowed a mere 237.2 yards per game. This was ranked first in the NFL. You would have to go back to the year 1991 to find a defense that allowed less yards then the Steelers. That team was the Eagles in which they allowed 221.8 yards per game. They ranked first in the NFL for Pass Defense in which they allowed 156.9 yards per game. At defending the run they ranked 2nd in the NFL in allowing 80.2 yards per game.
What makes these stats so impressive is that the Steelers played by far the toughest schedule in the NFL. They played 8 different teams with winning records including 6 of them that made the playoffs. With all that being said, they still have the BEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL!
Baltimore has not had a "Bye Week" since week 2. We can cleary see how its affecting them right now. They got outgained by 180 yards against the Titans. If not for 3 very critcal turnovers, there is no way that Titans lose that game. They are very lucky to be where they are right now.
This is going to be the 18th I repeat the 18th straight game for the Ravens. This also includes their 3rd straight road game for them.
The Steelers on the hand had their "Bye Week" in week 6 and had another "Bye Week" just two weeks ago. The "Rest Factor" will play a very big role in this game. Also note that the Steelers are healthy acorss the board and are starting to click at the right time.
There is no possible way that Balt wins this game. They are playing one of the best defenses of all time on the road! Add to that this is their 18 striaght game. Oh did I mention the Ravens have a rookie quarterback! Pitt will roll

Those things are all true,but I promise you 1 thing they will come to play the game,Ward said it will be a war,thats right 11 on 11.
