Kansas City -3.5 vs Oakland - The Raiders are still absolutely awful, the Chiefs are young but have more experience and are better fundamentally. 24-10 KC
Green Bay -3 @ Detroit - Detroit still doesn't havea defense and Aaron Rodgers showed he is capable of carrying the workload. 31-20 GB
Tennessee +1 @ Cincinnati - Having Vince Young out will actually help the Titans. Cincy still doesn't have a D (just like Detroit), they have good offensive weapons, but Tennessee will win the battle in the trenches and that's where this game will be decided. 17-14 TEN
Chicago +3 @ Carolina - The Bears beat the Colts in Indy, I was impressed, more impressed with rookie RB Matt Forte. He showed skill well beyond his years. Kyle Orton just needs to manage the game and not turn the ball over, he does that, the Bears win against the Steve Smith-less Panthers. 20-17 CHI
Buffalo +5 @ Jacksonville - The Jags have 4 of their 5 starting O-Linemen out and the Bills have some studs on both sides of the ball. Garrard needs to get back in to 2007-shape soon otherwise he and the Jags will be in big trouble. Look for Trent Edwards to utilize all weapons and for the BUF D to apply alot of pressure to David Garrard. 27-7 BUF
New Orleans +1 @ Washington - Drew Brees or Jason Campbell...? I'm with Brees. The Skins have a better D, but they also have the Dan Snyder Factor. If the Saints' offense is running the way it should, it could be another long day for Washington. 24-10 NO
Indianapolis -1 @ Minnesota - The Vikings have the D to compete, the RB, and the WR's...but they also have Tarvaris Jackson...turnover machine and inefficient QB. The Colts will make this one very interesting if they don't step up from a week ago. 27-17 IND
St Louis +9 vs New York Giants - Not an upset pick, but I think STL will play better than they did last week, Steven Jackson will come out of his cage and Marc Bulger will be able to throw the ball around at least a little bit...if the OL blocks. 24-17 NYG
San Francisco +6.5 @ Seattle - Seattle is without their top 4 WR's, who is Hasselbeck going to throw it to? His wife? I know I would
13-6 SF
San Diego -1 @ Denver - Denver doesn't have much of a defense outside of Champ Bailey, Dre Bly and DJ Williams. Look for the Chargers to spread the ball around to Gates, Jackson and Chambers to get the defense moving and create space for LT 31-10 SD
Pittsburgh -6 @ Cleveland - The Steelers have arguably the best passrush in the league and one of the most efficient QB's in the league, a solid running attack, a stand out safety and good receivers, just way to over matched for the defense-less Browns. 27-13 PIT
Philadelphia +7 @ Dallas - Phily may lack depth at the wideout position, but they make up for it in the return game and with mr versatility Brian Westbrook. The have an older D, but they can still get the job done. Donovan McNabb is getting himself back on the right page and what better place to do it than in Dallas. 23-21 PHI
Houston -4.5 vs Baltimore - The Ravens have way too many question marks, the Texans have a few too, but they have a more solid D than Baltimore and Mario Williams will be applying alot of pressure on Joe Flacco who will get forced in to making a few mistakes. 17-6 HOU
