This puppy here has no issue what so ever with covers taking a stance on offensive avatars ..(That is with "offensive"being used in a non- discretionary manner )..However my problem lays with the way this has been handled..This site now seems hollow and empty..I feel there`s a storm a brewing..This is my two bobs worth...
Firstly I am among the majority of users that have never used these so called offensive avatars so why are we being punished for the actions of a minority?? Secondly I recognize users by the their avatars and it suits me nicely..As mentioned earlier..I am bad with names but good with faces...So why was the provision of "avatar approval" not installed prior to the avatar earth hour?? Covers knew it was coming yet did nothing to makes the required provisions...And finally..If we are the majority of uses on this site,who are these advertisers advertising to?? Surely it cannot be us..Being told that we offend does not help sell us services and products..Some of the ads displayed on covers may need to go through the avatar approval process as well..I mean who chooses what is offensive?? Ass or tits?? One piece or two piece??All a tad confusing..
I understand that you guys do a good job and it ain`t easy,however always think of the majority and you will never have a problem..That`s my bit...Hope to see some familiar faces soon...
