Covers team - I was wondering where I can find umpire information for a baseball game. For example, the Astros and Dodgers game starts in 22 minutes. I went to mlb matchups. The I clicked on the Astors and Dodgers matchup. I scrolled down to pitchers/umpires and clicked on the umpire tab. Then it says umpire information not available. Am I doing this right or is the umpires for a baseball game located somewhere else? Any help at all would be much appreciated.

Hey,

You are looking in the right place, but unfortunately there is currently no umpire information for this game.

I looked an hour before the games for Kansas City/Baltimore, Cubs and Pirates as well and there wasn't anything either...guess I will try tomorrow. Thanks covers team.

MLB does not release the umpires prior to game-time, so umpire stats and information is never posted for Game 1 of a series.  After Game 1 the umpires move around in a basic circulation system and we are able to identify the home plate ump moving forward in a series.
