Lenin, Hitler and Stalin used unions as the tools to reach their goals and then squashed the rank-and-file and any union leaders who were considered enemies.
Hitler was in favor of unions .... as he outlined in Mein Kampf, he was an advocate of Government sponsored unions...workers walking in lock step with the Government, is the Nazi doctrine.
No wonder Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis proclaimed solidarity with Wisconsin public-sector unions....

You get it... It is the cowards argument to simply use Hitler/Stalin/Communism to breed emotional discontent for opponents...
