Dont worry Tuppy will post 10000x telling you about his streak...he's like that 50 yr old guy that still talks about the TD he scored in high school...non stop everyday endless and annoying |

haha not true at all. he responds to questions and takes part in an open forum. are there any threads started by tuppy talking about his own achievements? he wishes other people luck, defends the credibility of the site, and takes part in some discussions. is he supposed to not make any comments ever again?
but more importantly, congrats to mc2010 . made it even more fun to watch a birds victory knowing what you had on the line. i'm sure that first play from scrimmage by the rams had you cringing a little, but that's why they play 60 minutes. keep up the good work, only 4 away |

#65 Posted: 9/12/2011 4:53:09 AM Even though he doesn't post anything I gotta say congrats! Hedging isn't even a question anymore. $25,000 ain't too shabby for a free contest. |

#66 Posted: 9/12/2011 6:34:40 AM its so much cooler that he gets it for hitting that streak rather than having the longest one (ESPN streak for the cash). rather than hating him for having a longer streak than me... its easier to cheer on others and be happy for them when they hit a big streak like this to win $$$$.
Congrats man... 25 G's is always a nice payday. 100 G's will be even nicer! Good luck! |

#69 Posted: 9/12/2011 4:09:57 PM Congrats MC! Good luck in your next few picks! If MC does win the 100k, does it start over? Do they give out another 100k if another person wins? Just curious. |

MAKE SURE YOU COME OUT OF THIS WITH MORE MONEY... not hedging, even if it's for a dime or two... is as dumb as it gets. The only question he should have is NOT IF he should hedge... it's how much he should hedge. Don't hedge
Can't agree more! Hedging is an absolute no-brainer. I can't believe others think its not necessary? You are "guaranteed" to win cash when you hedge. You go ahead and hedge half the amount that you could win (10,000 in this case). I'm writing this even after he won the 21st game. The only problem with a hedge is making sure each party on either side of the hedge is "good for" the money. Meaning will each side certainly pay! In this case, I assume covers will certainly pay...so it's safe. If it was some local book you were going to hedge with......then it might be a dumb hedge.
