Clash of the Titans.  A duel where only one can win, I love it.  I was looking yesterday at the stats for both pitchers and decided thats just the type of game I don't want to bet on at all....I'm going to enjoy watching the game today...

Angels won 1-0 with 2 hits LOL.Now for # 19,may I suggest SF over Milwaukee with Cain pitching?Either that or Boston over Seattle, but Hernandez is pitching and I'm hesitant to bet against that guy, even at Fenway. As for the weekend,I'd pick Calgary over Edmonton -3 on Saturday as they beat Edmonton when playing at home by a combined 108-20 last year.Of course,Edmonton appears to be a better team this year, but it shouldn't matter.Montreal-Saskatchewan over 56 on Sunday at Montreal. It was 39-25 when they played 2 weeks ago at Saskatchewan and they always seem to play high scoring games, regardless of venue. But,you've proven to be WAAAAYYYY better than I am at this,so just perceive these to be a few kindly suggestions and do your own thing.GOOD LUCK AND HOPE YOU CASH IN!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is the day, Texas is the type of team you want to bet in this spot.

Really don't understand why you would think that. Weaver has a 1.91 era at home and 1.30 era in day games. On top of that Hamilton has blue eyes and hits .117 during the day. Easiest pick so far. Real surprised to see the game was that close when I got home today.

Congrats alte3! Stay strong and relax, you are very experienced, I know that. You are like an old fox! Stay calm and keep the enthusiasm at the bottom level.

You have 7 finals, do not hurry, pick just when you feel.

Do not listen to anyone else. Good luck man!

would of been even closer if not for the chavez error and texas' inability to cash in on there chances. so to me not the easiest pick so far you got lucky, but hey got to be lucky to be good, congrats on the 18 and best of luck on your future picks.

i thought for sure that was the end of the streak when i saw you picked LA.  Two good pitchers and texas had the edge by far with the bats.  Almost took the rangers today...keep it up i just want you to win the monthly cause they guy right behind you is being a douche!!!  GL

Think about this.. you're 7 wins away from $100,000....

FORGET THE MONTHLY  $1000.... TAKE YOUR TIME ... PICK YOUR SPOTS from here on out...

Take a deep breath... take a day or two off and think about a plan to snag that $100,000

The numbers are stacked against you even more when you are doing it consecutive days ... ...

25 in a row... Really hard to do, but can be done... 25 in a row in 25 days... next to impossible.

TAKE YOUR TIME

Best of luck

Darkside, I was just messing with hollywoodundead. Sarcasm. I've been lucky for almost 3 weeks now. I wasn't going to make a pick today. Didn't like any of the choices until I saw that the Angels came back to win late last night. Rangers have been on the road since the all star break. Figured after a tough loss and the last day of the road trip and facing Weaver, the Angels had a good shot at winning. Glad I wasn't home to see how the game was going. I would have been a wreck.

hey Alte3
congrats to you winning $1000.  Keep it up.. I am rooting for you to get the big prize of $100,000...   Don't listen to anyone if they want to give you advise.  Everyone is a critic,  Last year at this time, I had a streak of 16.  I made my pick for #17 and lost.  After that loss, everyone had an opinion on why I screwed up.  I couldn't care less.  Remember to stick to your guns and once again congrats..

I screwed up today. My first instinct was to take Carpenter and the Cards tonight. Thought about it to much and passed. Should have 19. Damn.
