Spurs -6.5 looks good.  Normally hate taking road favorites, but they should be able to cover against the Pistons.

I know a lot of people will probably stay away from this game, but I like UNC +10 for Wednesday.  They've won their last 5 (last 3 by 20+ pts), and the underdog is 13-6 ATS in the last 19 meetings.  Not to mention that kid Barnes is starting to get on a roll.

I like Villanova -6, Marquette -6. UNC +10, Pistons -1.5, Magic -1, Hornets -2, Mavs -5, Getting a losing pick in this mix is unacceptable!

Fade that list, they all have one thing in common, they are all road teams!
Bunch of traps in that list, I will look for a train to get onto tomorrow.

Actually I like Orlando. I lost big on two big home favorites in the NHL tonight. Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay. But lets go with Orlando over Philadelphia.

I'm not a gambling guru by any means, I mostly just play free streak games online for fun and a chance to maybe win some $.  With that said, I can tell you some of my insights.  No matter how good you are though, luck will always play it's part.  First I think you need to determine which prize you're after...going for a long streak takes a different strategy then going for the monthly prize.  I love trying to make picks every day, so for someone like me it's hard to back off and pick spots.  I have a W5 right now so even though the month is young, I'm probably out of contention for the monthly.  So, I'll probably switch up and devote a little more time to selection.  I think that's what most people do:  pick anything every day till you get a few wins in a row, then either decide to go for the monthly or switch gears and protect your streak.

I usually like to try for the monthly because A) I like picking every day and B) the thought of losing a W15 or W16 and having to start over just sucks.

I try to stick with NBA and NCAAB, which I think are more predictable.  I like taking the over in most cases, especially when it's projected low (like Evansville last night).  I'll scan the NCAAB games for totals in the low 120s and then take a closer look.  For the NBA, if I see a total in the 180s then I'm gonna look at that.  Just my two cents but I think with the chance to push the bet and the overtime factor, low totals are worth serious consideration.

Anyway, sorry for the long post.  GL everyone.

Well we're finally on the winning track again. After being on fire last week, this week has been extremely rough but now we're back.

Well that was quick. We're going with UCONN tomorrow against St.Johns. I can't believe that UCONN is only a 1 point favorite. St. Johns sucks. Lets go UCONN!

I'm going Wright St +9.5.  Butler hasn't been really scaring any teams in the Horizon this year, they're 6-4 over their past 10 games, and Wright St beat them at home earlier in the year.

Good luck with UConn.  St. John's scares me.  They've won 4 of their last 6 at home, including a 15 pt win over Duke, an 18 pt win over ND, and a win over GT.  Plus, if Kemba keeps slumping like he has been, they'll have a really tough time beating the Red Storm.  I hope they do win for you, though.

Maybe I'm still bitter that they didn't cover against the 'Cuse last week.  Gotta keep this W5 going...

Thanks Smooth.  I'm at W6 right now (best is 8), and 7-2 for the month.  Taking UConn -1 and keeping my fingers crossed.
