CHAMPIONSHIP HUMBLES ALWAYS 2ND PLACE 10-3!
The Championship bounced back from being thrashed last week to deliver the punishment to Always 2nd Place. Always 2nd Place is going to find themselves Always out of the Playoffs if this continues. They have lost 4 out 5 games with 2 of those games being complete beatdowns including this one. The only win for Always 2nd Place was against cellar dwellers Shanks. Always 2nd Place now find themselves in a all about battle with 3 other teams for the last 2 Playoff spots. The Championship meanwhile get back to their winning ways and try to keep pace with frontrunning Str8ballin. Recent call-up Anthony Rizzo led the Championship charge with 3 HR's while batting .414 for the week! _________________________________
CRUSHERS NIP BEARS IN THRILLER!
The Blue Crushers posted their 3rd close victory in a row. This time defeating the Bears who they're fighting with for a Playoff spot. The Crushers were in a horrible slump but has since steadied the ship and reeled of some solid victories. RP Kenley Jansen played a key role in the victory recording 3 saves with a 0.00 ERA and 7.00 K/BB ratio. The victory put the Crushers back in the 6th spot for the final Playoff spot as we begin to enter the critical part of the season. ________________________________________
FIREBALLS CONTINUE IMPRESSIVE RUN WITH WIN OVER HOMERUN KINGZ 9-5!
The Fireballs are becoming the most dangerous team in the league at this point. After knocking off the top 2 teams the Fireballs went up against another hot team in Homerun Kingz. The Homerun Kingz had won 4 in a row and 5 out of 6 until they met up with a rejuvenated Fireball team that was left for dead 3 weeks ago. The Fireballs pulled off yet another trade this week acquiring Carlos Beltran for Adrian Gonzalez. As it turned out they didn't Beltran this week but now the Fireballs have entered the Playoff equation as they are only 3 games out of the 6th spot.

Week one will determine your seeding. There are 3 picks a day. Sides or totals.
We do this tourney style until there is one...... The Battle Champion.
If you are knocked out of the tourney, you still can win the consolation. Keep picking 3 a day until regular tourney is over. He or she with the most UNITS at the end of the tourney period will win the consolation prize.
This setup will cover everyones betting style. We have some great cappers that end up on the plus end by betting dogs.
Good luck 25 Dime Club! And ANYONE can join in the fun. Just post interest here.
20 bucks. Winner takes 80%. Consolation 20%.

That's too bad I was looking forward to it. If we get enough people I have a Paypal account and I could handle the disbursement of the winnings. I have sent out PMs as well with no response. I guess other than a select few guys, just don't want to compete. Oh well maybe later in the Summer like you said. |
