ps I know the NBA season is technically over but plan to kill it during the playoffs so I meant including playoffs it's almost over.  Lot of $ to be made before it's done though and I do mean $1,000's

Guys one last thing I want to give the most recent example of my system play from last night, Sac (and the over).

Sacramento hosted the Lakers and yes Kobe was out but this was a truly sharp line move.  Busters were on the Lakers and Sac moved PROGRESSIVELY from -3.5 all the way to -7!  The total also went all the way up to 205.

I took Sac at -6.5 -110 and over 204 -110.  With 40 pts scored in the second quarter the total seemed to maybe be a sweat but Sac never was.

Final score:  Lakers 96  Sac 113

nice 2-0 on that game based on the line action.  Sacramento was definitely the sharp play

Bad line move last night:

Utah Jazz.  They went all the way up to -7.5 but if you follow my system you would not take this pick in accordance with Rule #2, only taking picks in OPPOSITION to the consensus.

The busters were on Utah.  IF Vegas sees busters heavily favoring a side, they will move the line in that direction to ensure that side doesn't hit.

Utah had a chance to cover last 2 minutes of the game but they are busters and did not.  This was a great no-play for me according to rule #2.

Follow the system to a T and be a winner!

Czech_Razor-Thanks for the wealth of information. That is really some great inside info that you're putting down. We're glad you found us and came on like gangbusters with those nuggets. We are the $25 Dime Club! You couldn't have picked a better time to join. Right now we have some members that are truly smoking hot. From this thread we have had 8-10 members hit $1000 mark on Survivor. A couple have made runs at the big money. The $25 Dime Club is an open forum for information, support win or lose. You can also just hang out and have a few cold ones. I would also like to invite you to our group on SFTC where our member Bama is making a serious run at the top monthly prize. Here is the link for that.  http://streak.espn.go.com/en/group?groupID=188043  Please keep coming back and welcome to the $25 Dime Club and yes you're right about those Captown clowns!

BAMA BREAKS CAMP HEADS FOR HOODVILLE!

Hoodville get ready because Bama is on his way and he's bringing  some company. That's right Trax is right behind him and these guys aren't playing. Bama is taking the first steps towards Hoodville with the St.Louis Cardinals guiding the way. Good Luck Bama! May the Force be with you!

Thanks for the invite smoothD20 I would be happy to join camp.  I wish I had stumbled on this thread sooner.

The information is so inside that I am exposing the touts with it!  This info is good enough to sell but I have shared it with the masses.

It will continue to work because the vast majority of people click what they like on the contests and contribute their collective buster mentality for us to see and exploit.  I even do it myself and wind up betting a side that I picked against on the contest, but no more.

To this note I am making a change:  starting today in this playoff race I am ONLY taking picks on Covers that I deem appropriate according to my system and that I am betting myself.  No more firing away on everything I'm going to try and use the challenge to track how the system performs across the spectrum of games.

Captown should fall easily!  We will over-run it and divide and conquer.  We will take their gold and their women and put the men to the slaughter

SmoothD I'm "scared" on SFTC.  Let's get this train rolling!

New member of $25 Dime Club let's put those imposters to shame!

I am making myself accountable right now so hopefully the force will remain strong.  I have nothing to offer you guys on baseball, I do have opinions on hockey and took NJ last night but hockey has stupid variances and are not included in my system.

I am going to specifically target the NBA during playoffs and then NCAAB/NCAAF and NBA/NFL next year.  Let's get serious and make some serious

SmoothD when I say let's get serious I mean I have some serious goals in mind.  I have some interesting tweaks to the above system and also a correlated-yet-separate system for halftime wagers.

Also a couple big  making strategies.

For instance, since we are trying to create profit and/or streaks, why not consider an open parlay?

On 5Dimes you can make open parlays although I do not use that site.  But I like to take picks last-minute so I can see all the line action, but this isn't possible if you're filling in a parlay using picks starting at different times.

This is a SERIOUS disadvantage to someone trying to do a parlay, forcing them to pick prematurely.

You could eliminate this problem with a open-parlay that you fill in over time, even adding halftime wagers when appropriate.  This is a path to success.

I know that if we use this strategy we could create parlay streaks and some serious money.  That's why most books don't let you do it.  I wish they did though.

SmoothD I'm sorry for posting so much and won't continue to keep doing so but I am on fire with ideas right now and decided to share them.

I didn't mean to suggest before that parlays are the best, in fact I believe in straight-betting primarily.  I need to clarify that for everyone reading.

However, if you like parlays, as I do sometimes, I am saying the open-parlay is the way to go, avoiding all those times you rush into picks and watch your 5 good picks all hit and the 1 you knew was a little suspect, lose.

It's happened to me countless times.  Had all the winners but one.  The way to avoid this is straight-betting but I think it's okay to go for the big score on the parlay sheet also.  The key though to success is this:

Every pick (and i mean EVERY) on your parlay should be a sharp play, and every pick should be made only after ensuring it's a sharp play, which basically means you can't put it in early.  No adding stupid ML favorites.

Therefore, either parlay games starting at same times ONLY, or use open parlays.  You can't parlay a 7 o'clock game with a 10:30 game.  Just can't do it.  You can do it and win sometimes, but we are not busters here and don't engage in buster strategies that lose over time.

We are sharps.  Let's act like it and make some serious

SmoothD the stakes have never been higher.

Rebel forces at Captown are the least of our concerns.  I want to lead an army beyond them all straight to Sin City and burn it to the ground.

Take it all!

We will give no quarter and be absolutely ruthless.  We could lead an army of 1 and plunder the books.  The books want to pay us, they receive an advantage ONLY because they offer us the SERVICE of taking our action and giving us a chance to WIN. And WIN WE SHALL!!!

There is nothing immoral about taking these books for everything, we will meet their challenge and lay waste to their reserves.

I shall call their bluffs out and check-raise them all-in.  We will rob the rich and give to the poor helpless busters that can't pick their noses.

This is a calling of the highest order.  There will be no insubordination.  Every stricture must be observed.  Czech_razor over and out

Thats why he started this thread...........its a place to work out the kinks and discuss strategies and tweaking systems.  I rant in here all the time. Sometimes just blowing off steam and other times putting my angles out there.

I follow the lines as well.  what I have found helpful is make some kind of note of the line when they first post it and follow the movement up until "warmup" time.  Patience is key and I do not always be patient.

GL and keep posting there is no judgment here we all have the same goal.New thoughts and views can only help.  If something doesnt work out you still learn from it and nothing is 100% although I keep trying to come up with angles that are.

I have noticed in baseball when the visitor is the dog and getting the higher % watch the line movement.  If the % on the dog goes up and the home becomes a higher favorite take the home team. This is where patience plays an important role

Booyah thanks for the words are yes it is a sure thing. If you follow the parameters and straight bet them equally you will be profitable plain and simple. It's that easy but so hard for degenerates because it goes against our buster natures. Discipline is key.

And yes Booyah you're exactly right and my system shows the same thing. When the public is on the dog and favorite becomes a bigger favorite take the favorite. This is a perfect example like Sacramento last night at home vs the Lakers.

These are great spots as public usually isn't on the dog, and when they are the line usually moves for the dog. If it goes the other way this is a sharp play on the favorite.

Guys this is a perfect example of my system. FOLLOW THE SHARPS. Follow line moves in opposition to the buster consensus. It's the sure way to profits

CZECH-I'm loving your posts man and never be afraid to it out there. We don't have pissing contests here. Like Booyahz said it's an open forum and we all support one another win or lose. I like your system. One thing I would ask though is if you could post a pick that fits your system before the game. So if you see something that falls into that category where "Busters" (love that word BTW)are on the wrong play and the "sharps" are making these line movements give a heads up. This also sounds like the theory that Plisskin goes by. I would love to see you 2 dialogue on this topic. That would be very insightful. GL tonight $25 Dime Clube! Let's Ride!

Czech-Would the Cubs-Phillies game qualify under your system. Phillies heavy favorites but the line is going down lately favoring the Phillies but it's still quite high. Thoughts on this game as an example.

Idk smooth I'm out tonight and not betting plus I am no doing baseball right now. Just look for moves in opposition to the consensus. If no one likes the phillies and they are getting more expensive anyways then it might qualify. If they are getting cheaper because no one likes them then not necessarily. I'd have to look at it and cannot right now.

To answer your question though I will def give you guys heads up on future plays before the games start.

Remember one thing though according to my system I have to wait until right before game time, so check this thread for posts around 10 minutes before the games start. I don't want to put bad picks out early.

It sounds to me like I may have confused when I said line moves "favor" one side or other. Here's an example.

Team A (dog) at Team B (favorite).

Say Team A is +110 and Team B -130. If the public is on Team A yet the line on B goes to, say, -145, then this move is in "favor" of the favorite. Now, it's more expensive for you to buy them now and this sucks, but the line move "favors" them by saying they are even more likely to win despite the fact that the public is on Team A.

Does that make sense? When a favorite becomes more expensive then the line move is towards the favorite to win. When the favorite becomes cheaper and the dog more expensive then the move "favors" the dog.

It sounded to me like you said phillies line was dropping and them becoming cheaper. This move does not favor Philly it favors the dog.

Got it. I was thinking that based on your earlier posts that in your system the Cubs would be the play but I wanted to clarify that. Interesting enough the Cubs are winning but it's still early. I like this angle though.

Now this is a case study for us. SD-SF. San Diego opens as the Dog. Public is all over SF. Now SD is the favorite -114. So in this scenario SD would be the play right?
