Why not allow the option of picking over/under totals on MLB & NHL games over the -130 $ line,as long as the over/under totals aren't greater than -130$,? Some days there are only a few games to choose from.If this is tech-viable,why would this not be considered? Thanks

Because, less options is more better, moneyline sports are inferior to point spread sports, and I'm sure it's impossible to program.

What is your rationale for the moneyline being inferior? As for the programming,it seems like the same parameters already in place, would be used for the over/under moneyline.Right? No?Please explain to substantiate your premise.

Hey Oakley,

At this time we don't have any plans in changing the contests but i will bring it up in our next meeting to see what IT thinks.

If, as has been suggested here, +100 is the record of a pretty good picker, I'm closing in on being "pretty good". I'm at +86 but I'm convinced I'll never make it picking MLB games.I'm ususally like win 2-3 and lose 4.  I'm going to wait for NFL to start again.  I do better on WNBA, of which I know nada.  Come on Sept/Redskins.

I agree that MLB is a tough nut to crack, especially games at $-130 or less.I will always strive to improve as a capper, though.Added game options could be advantageous.

Its like every body here is on the same page. Ive been thinkin the samething.

There is no undue advantage either way. In fact it would create more losers due to over saturation of options. Seems like they are inching in that direction, because now they are putting -130's out there. Which dog or fave wins about 50% of the time. Currently the teams they select.....the dogs have about a 5% edge over the faves as it relates to probability.

Survivor is just that...... surving with what your dealt with, so instead of trying to change the game, change the player in you and focus on what you can wager on!

I agree with Tuppy, I think the contest is fine the way it is. If on a certain day there are not enough selections for your fancy, take the day off. Surviving does require some patience as well as getting a lucky break every now and then in key situations.

Someone mentioned that being +100 is good in this contest. That is all relative to how many selections you have overall. For instance, I have seen 1 player with 3000 total selections, if he is 1550-1450, that is not a good enough ratio to be winning anything to wriite home about. Rather a better way of judging a player is by %. I think 55% is rock solid, and if I see players above this, I will not hesitate to follow them like a religion.

As always, good luck to all.

That's precisely my point !

We are required to make a pick
within 7 days of last selection made. Can't afford to be Too patient !

The option of over/under totals not above $ -130...would help offset the time restriction,as pertaining to the days with few &small menu of game options.

Same parameters could be implemented for totals, just as concurrent odds conditions, per:Teams.

Funny how you agree with TUPPY.I'm sure it's simply a coincidence that he's the BIGGEST Streak Survivor winner, yet.
