I must say, that was an absolute horrible pick.  Not because he chose Cleveland, but because he chose a basketball game.  If he had chosen a baseball game, he would've gotten better odds on a hedge, if he did in fact hedge it.  If it were me, I would've taken the Anaheim Angels at -121 which actually lost.  But I would've gotten +114 on Seattle which would've payed $14,250 on a hedge bet of $12,500.  Add on the $1000 from the contest gives a grand total of $15,250.  But that's just what I would've done.

yes...look at it as you will. Celtics go back to Clev and have to take 2 there right? If Boston didn't win its Elimination game in theory as Clev would run away with this series having home court

I suspect he did not hedge  and for all complaining about the pick  ...he is the one that got to this point.... not you guys. I personally like playoff basketball picks .

you're right, but he had a week to make a pick....I am sure a Mlb game would have been a better option to risk it all on.

it was about getting the pick right for an opportunity to get to 100,000  not just making money by hedging..... i thought it was a good pick.....should never question the pick of someone who made it this far...

wonder if we are ever gonna see the 25 picks in a row?  It might be a very long time if ever if we ever see someone get another 100k check from wagerling again.

I don't know if he hedged....But 10,000 on the celts that night would have at least guaranteed him a 9,000 profit one way or the other.... cause if the celts won he wins 9,000 and if his pick did win he would have got 14,000 so either way he was a winner...Have not seen what he did ...but a great run none the less! good Job!

17 is tough 21 improabable 25 in a row i will say impossible

i had a run r/t with buddy every night in baskets NBA  15 st winners well 15 games we won in a week 15-0  his bookie buddy cut his action down to $200 per game and that told me right there that locals will never lose big money to any one guy !

I quit giving him games after he told me that and just hammered my book evety night !
