I had been struggling for a while without as much as a 2 game winning streak. Then I got one with Syracuse vs. Providence under 167.5 and Virginia -5.5 but lost it with Northern Iowa -10 against Southern Illinois. Then I got back to 2 with Syracuse -5 against Cincinnati and Wake Forest -6 over Boston College. Then I was thinking about taking Baylor -2 but went away for while then decided to take it and when i submitted it it said -2.5. I said oh well the chances of them winning by exactly 2 are rare but in the end they did and my wait cost me another mini streak instead of a push which i would have gotten if i had decided earlier. It hurts even more because of the one pick a day rule!

Yea its a tough contest.I had mine up to 9 but lost on NW tonight. To be honest,it was like a punch in the gut.Don't know why,it's not like I actually lost money betting on them.Maybe it's the ego,who knows.I enjoy the streak contest just as much as I do betting games.Hell sometimes I'm looking at games all day long just to get THE ONE pick.Actually since I've been playing,I truly believe my handicapping skills are getting better. Then again, maybe my skills were garbage to begin with.Good luck in your future bets.

I know what you mean when you say punch in the gut.. I lost my 13W streak tonight with Phoenix.. I was really looking forward to picking another winner and closer to at least the 17 streak and $1000... Its def. a tough contest, that's why you don't see all but 2 people with streak's of 21 and 22 since they started this contest in the year 2000.

congratulations on your 13 game winning streak. Good luck on your new streak. Between spreads and one pick a day this is a very tough contest. When I lose i feel depressed having to wait for at least the next day to start over.

I'm really frustrated over my bad luck in which I have not been to 3..... 3 in 2 ½ months and that loss demoralized me and i lost my next attempt when I took under 162.5 between Notre Dame and Seton Hall and it went way over. I'm thinking of either the Columbus Blue Jackets, under 5 ½ in the Canucks/Blue Jackets game or most likely over 129 for West Virginia @Pitt. Thank you for your insight and good luck on your streak too.

I've sent you a request and I'm back at 2. Maybe this time can be a charm. I will look carefully before making a pick.

I've got Northwestern -7 over Penn State. Let's see if this will turn out well.

Down by 4 (11 for the pick) at halftime. I hope they turn it around in the 2nd half.

THIS game is brutal, I had a 13 game win streak in November and went 24-6 finishing in second place after leading most of the month, then I went 12-19 in December and 18-12-1 in January for a total of 54-37-1,  I've gone a poultry 6-11 this month, losing with Kansas, Syracuse and Kansas St. today, someone throw me a life line, I'm drowning, which almost happened to me in the summer of 73'.

I know i lost but I have no regret on this pick. It looked great picking a team at home against 7 to a team that is on a 12 game losing streak all in their conference play (Big Ten). Penn State outright beating Northwestern who could have predicted that. Maybe I'm cursed in this game still no 3+ winning streak since late November. Penn State who was 0-12 in Big Ten games outright winning let alone beating out +7. OMG. I noticed 4 leaders from 9 to 11 took them against either 6.5 or 7 as well. In other words NW took PSU lightly and deserved to lose.

I went on a two week vacation this summer and when I got back I lost for about 20 straight days doing baseball picks, I garbage you not, and ever since then have hovered around 20 games under .500  168-187-7, oh well, its fun to play.  Hang in there Quad, you'll get that streak going soon.

Well the Spurs are the most recent team to lay an egg for me by losing to the lowly Pistons in OT and therefore have joined my no pick list with Northwestern and South Florida so I'm now 8 under .500. I'll try again with West Virginia -1.5 over Connecticut and hope they don't lay down too.

Good luck on your streak bpn333. Hopefully we can both be high up on the leaderboard soon.

BTW I got UConn +2 instead but a Push is the same as a loss at 0. I'm disappointed to see the line go up to +3 but I see West Virginia losing on the road and UConn (I'm sorry to say this as a Syracuse fan) is playing better recently winning at Villanova and by 18 at Rutgers.

I'm glad I took UConn instead of West Virginia. Maybe sometimes I have to double think before making picks.

I took the under 137 in the UConn v. West Virginia game and it went under by 2 points for win #1.  I can't seem too muster a 2 game win streak as of late.

Tonight, I think I'll be going for New Mexico(-7.5) over Colorado St. Gonna try and aim for a 3 game streak, then I'll start to be a little more patient with my picks.  No more fun and games, the road to 21(or 25) starts now.

I'm about to lose resume the losing and lose the 1 i got with UConn. Tonight's culprit? The Miami Heat (-7) losing by 10 in the game and 17 on the spread to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Just like Northwestern (-7 over Penn State), South Florida (-5 over St. John's) and San Antonio Spurs (-4.5 over the Pistons) another egg is being layed. These spreads might as well be 0 as all 4 of these teams lost outright! I couldn't see Minnesota staying close or winning by the Heat obviously stink.

I'm thinking of taking the Lakers -11 at home over the 76ers  to get my winning streak up to 3.
