#2 Posted: 2/18/2009 2:10:53 AM Look ...math question only for Canadians and it is not that complicated. It is not wagerlines rules but government rules....and yes if you could not answer you would not get the money. |

Looks like it would be something you could plug right into google's calculator if needed.

#5 Posted: 2/18/2009 12:06:23 PM Sup Parmy Charm thanks for the link...Very interesting....oh ok so I guess just basic math I thought it might be some kind of calculous or something lol...I figured they would make it so people can get around that law and actually win.....I just wonder for the people who win do they do it on the phone or in person??....Either way it's a longshot to win in the first place lolol....Good luck to everybody regardless...lol at google calculator I guess you could do that if they did it on the phone hah.... |

#8 Posted: 2/20/2009 10:54:10 AM Just thought of something....What happeneds if you hit 21 wins for 25 Grand what options do you have now?? Do they give you the 25 grand regardless and let you try for the 100 grand or do they give you an option to stop walk away with the 25 grand or continue trying for the 100 grand with the chance of loosing everything how does it work????
And I know i'm talking like i'm gonna win (which I won't) but I know it's a LONG shot...i'm aware of this..no chance of me winning but I'm just curious regardless lol |

#9 Posted: 2/20/2009 12:31:10 PM its just like the 1000. You get the 1000 and keep going for the 25k and if you get that then you go for the 100k and if you get that then you would have a total of 126k a hoodie and a hat

#11 Posted: 2/20/2009 7:17:18 PM It was surreal...can not explain but for some reason after i hit 17 i was pretty calm...no stress...which is bizarre... when i hit 3 raptors picks early on i decided to stick with NBA games did some research and kept what was happening in the contest from my friends which decreased the pressure i think. Made a pick only if i felt 100 % confident and i was incredibly lucky once..God loves the Raptors |

THIS IS NOT CORRECT.
"- All registered entrants who make 21 consecutive correct selections
during the Promotion Period will receive $25,000 cash, however this is
subject to the conclusion of the players streak. If the entrant
extends their streak to 25 in a row, the entrant will receive $100,000
for reaching the 25 streak level. Any streak finishing in the 21-24
range will result in $25,000 for the eligible entrant.
- All
registered entrants who make 17 consecutive correct selections during
the Promotion Period will receive $1,000 cash, regardless of when
entrants’ streak ends.
"
So, you would not win $126,000 for a 25-game streak. You would win $101,000.

#24 Posted: 3/1/2009 12:12:54 AM So what's the deal with this contest being void in certain parts of Canada (namely Quebec and Nunavut too I think). They say its prohibited by law. I guess it has to do with money. Didn't one of the covers experts take down the Canadian government for millions in some gambling related thing (Heard it on Covers Radio). Maybe I'll do the same. But I haven't quite figured out how or for what reason.

#25 Posted: 3/1/2009 1:19:27 AM Most contests in Canda are void in Quebec...unless they are specific for that region.. You would have to talk to the Quebec government about it. |
