#2 Posted: 1/24/2008 7:23:45 PM Don't think you can search that stuff up through a database like the other contests, unless you just go around looking at everybody's records. |

#4 Posted: 1/28/2008 10:35:23 AM 54% will lose you money, not make you money. FYI. Not bashing, just letting you know. |

#5 Posted: 1/28/2008 11:13:07 AM 54% won't lose you money. If you bet 100 dollars per game 100 times and you win 54%, you would win 5400 (54x100) and you would lose 5060 (46x110). ***assuming that the normal 10% juice is added in**** That's a profit of $340 for every 100 bets you make. In actuality, you must continuously win 53% of your wagers to stay in the black and avoid the red. Of course, this is all assuming you make each wager the same when it comes to monetary amounts. |

#6 Posted: 1/28/2008 12:14:45 PM you have to hit 52.38% with 10% juice to break even. anything above that and you're making money. |

#9 Posted: 1/29/2008 9:46:41 AM lol Thanks for the exact percentage johnboy. I just did the quick math in my head because it's obvious that 54% wins you money on a consistent basis. Like redsox said, I don't wanna be betting with his book hahaha |

#10 Posted: 1/30/2008 4:01:34 PM Right now I am 71-35 in survivor picks. That is basically 67%. Definitely not trying to brag, but just curious if anyone else has close to that or higher. |

#11 Posted: 1/30/2008 6:03:48 PM While my record is not outstanding (due to a 14 game losing streak) it is truly not hard to have a good record. You are picking one team a day. Most days it is easy to find one "lock" per day. |

#12 Posted: 1/30/2008 7:17:21 PM I agree that it is not that difficult to pick one a day or every couple of days. However, that is kind of my point...I have yet to run across anyones record greater that about 54-55% in survivor. |

#14 Posted: 2/1/2008 5:23:09 PM That is a very good record, however repost once you have completed at least 50 picks. I'll be curious to see what you have. Hopefully you will stay around 80% and we could bum some picks off of you. Good luck. |
