#6 Posted: 4/17/2007 11:18:50 PM Ive always said the same thing roberob but not everyone has $50,000 to lay, but a good idea might be to get together some friends and place a bet with all the money you can scape up. you have to worry about the closing line which might give you the chance to land in the middle and hit both or get a bad line and lose both. Good luck freightdog. Hell of a run. You have a week so choose wisely!!! |

#10 Posted: 4/18/2007 1:19:39 AM Seven baseball games are offered for tomorrow. Might be your best opportunity. Try this one:
Millwood, Texas over the White Sox, Buehrle.
- Millwood in his only 5 outings against the Sox: 34 innings, 5 runs: 1.32 ERA
- Buehrle: 5.28 ERA vs. Texas last 4 starts
- Texas Rangers, pounding out a .300 batting average against Lefties, compared to .217 against Right Handers
- White Sox offense is limp at this point of the season. The Chixox have scored one run or fewer five times already after not being held to one run until their 21st game of 2006.
- Finally, BuffetGambler, who knows more than 99.9 % of the bloggers has this to say about Buehrle (while misspelling his name):
"I have been bearish on Buerhle for 2 years, claiming that there was now way that he would be able to keep his solid numbers (at the time) sustained for a long period of time. His pitching style and quality of pitches were simply not good enough, and he played the role of opportunist by being able to pad his numbers against inferior lineups in a majority of his starts. Finally, during the second half of the season, he witnessed some regression."
Seeing as you're probably in Vegas right now fading the next pick, good luck at the Blackjack table too...

#18 Posted: 4/18/2007 11:10:45 AM If your hedging get an NBA spread close to -2.5 then try and find a line at +3 or 3.5.
If you bet 40k +3 V and your wagerline is -2.5 H you will gaurentee yourself 40k after taxes.
If Visoters lose by 3 you will push your 40k bet and win the 100k minus taxes. If you get a line at +3.5 you will win 140k
This shouldnt be that hard to find as wagerlines spraeds are often off by a bit due to the public favourites. Either way good luck. And enjoy watching the game. |

#23 Posted: 4/18/2007 11:59:57 AM Good luck man. As a chicago native and lifelong sox fan, I agree with biff37 totally. The sox lineup has been miserable the first 2 weeks and buehrle is still feeling the effects of the line drive off his forearm a start ago. Good luck with your pick. |

#24 Posted: 4/18/2007 12:12:02 PM Take out a second mortgage on the house (or mobile home if you're VTVOL23) for $50K,
Or ask Vinny No Thumbs for a “loan”,
Fly to Vegas = $300 round trip,
Stay at Wynn = $700 for a 4 night stay,
Survivor pick = San Jose -142,
Casino wager = Nashville +132, lay $49K to win $64,468.
Hope that Nashville pulls off the upset and fly home in your personal chartered jet, $60K richer.
If not, you get a check in the mail from Wagerline for $100K
Good Luck Dog!
