im with as usual on most of your picks nos. i LOVE cinci and miami. also with you on cent mich, mich st, and the lou. do you know anything about the backup qb for unc or are they just gonna line up tate at qb. lol.

Nos/everyone...I'm getting nervous for this week because, like you, I love a ton of chalk. My bread and butter is taking a bunch of sneaky dogs throughout the course of the year (read: trap games). I just don't see any out there this week. All I see is a bunch of favorites that are actually at a great value for the week.
I'd consider what Michigan State is getting into a trap game, but I just don't trust Indiana here enough to bet them I don't think.
I love a bunch of your plays as they match mine, but please reassure me that it's ok to load up on favorites from time to time and still come out a winner.

i think you are seeing it right...
everyone is chomping at the bit to play dogs after last year... i have no trouble looking at this board and seeing that 1) lots of squares will be jumping on dogs this weekend... and 2) this is not the week for it...

Thanks Shep...last week was a nice week for dogs/public slaughters (Cent Mich, Toledo, Troy, Wake all cashed on my card) Maybe with so many people getting frisked on those games, the dogs are getting more respect this week.

Texas 38 Ark 17 - pretty inflated number so will take a chance that Razorbacks protect the ball better and give a good effort in game that probably means more to Ark whose young skill players should continue to improve
Georgia 23 Alabama 21 - repeat of last week's LSU-Aub war, TD looks pretty good with fairly even teams and Tide rarely blown out even in questionable years
Ohio St 38 Minny 13 - Gophers stepping way up in class after some mediocre to weak teams, Pryor should continue to improve and Bucks own this series including 44-0 here in 2006 (484-182 yds) although that was a better offense (barring Wells return)
Florida St 23 Colorado 10 - cannot see Colorado doing much against this defense that controlled LY 16-6 win in Boulder, heat may eventually wear on Colo, FSU played decent in 21-14 over Bama LY in Jacksonville

Love the addition of OSU. I hear that Beanie Wells is supposed to play this week and Pryor looks like the man after playing almost all the game (sat out one offensive snap) against Troy last weekend. Leaning towards OSU. Like Bama, Louisville, Penn St. Cinci, Toledo, and Miami!

Nos,being a life long Buckeyes fan,tread easy on the Bucks.The D is overated(Yngstwn St,Troy)the secondary is suspect,Minnesota has a decent qb.Pryor looked respectable against Troy but there are bound to be some growing pains(ints,fmbles).Beanie or no beanie i think there are alot safer plays this wk.Btw the Bucks special teams are terrible!Feel stupid offering advice to the advisor but id watch this one!GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

yardgnome - agree and not getting too carried away as watched most of the Ohio game, so just a regular play although if Beanie is healthy he may run wild for a couple quarters. BOL this week

Also liking the addition of OSU -17. Even though the defense isn't good (which is horrible since it's the same D as last year), OSU should still be able to put up big points against the gophers. Look for Pryor to be more aggressive this game, and hopefully a healthy Beanie Wells.
