I find TAB NRL lines (and prices) junk most of the time. I agree that the lines at various books often seem colluded, but you can find quite generous differences in prices (and on totals as well, 2 and 3 points)...

Eg. the 13+ margin is at $3.70 at other places...that's $0.55 less than I got.

Acumen are solid, they offer $1.95 on lines for the weekend games on Fridays. I have accounts everywhere so I use sportspunter as a guide for Aust and Europoean sports.
 
The best local books are Lasseters (Gerald Daffys new place), Sportsbet, Acumen and Centrebet.
 
Been restricted big time at Sportingbet, rarely use IAS/Canbet for local sports

Agree, TAB is a rip off (generally)

Also you love going for your local teams, Knights/Jets. Going on form you say Knights but I'm leaning cows too.

As Second said, Pinny is fine for Aussies, they just won't let you withdraw into your credit card, so you'll need a neteller or moneybookers account.

Yes, I bet on locals, but not (completely) blind. I am very comfortable with my Newcastle bet tonight - they should be too strong for a decimated Cowboys side.

Oh, and the Jets made me a motza this A-League season

Not sure that the wifey would be too impressed - given that I'd have to hang around to make sure nothing got out of hand.......kind of like security

I don't know, she seems to get some pretty "normal" wives a willing and wanting to listen. She's pretty good at it, making em feel comfortable and what not.
