Woop.  totally disagree with clemson being 7th.  homer admission, but rivers is the ONLY loss that will hurt them.  hill, jennings and booker will be much better than the loss of rivers.  i actually think losing oglesby helps our team chemistry.  guy has a basketball IQ of a little girl.  anyway, they will be better than last year.  and that, after finishing 3rd two years ago and 4th last year in the ACC.  my prediction is 10-6 in conference.  3 to 5 seed in the NCAA tourney.

 

Losing Rivers is a huge loss......Losing Ogglesby definantly does not help either.....I dont think the team will be as good as last years team.....I think the Rivers loss is going to hurt more than you realize.

That is obvious because UVA would of been dead last!!!!!

Actually they have not finished last in the ACC in quite some time.

When did they last win it all???  UVA I mean???  I know the Yanks just won it all yesterday!   I will take your asterek all day long... because Red Cox got the same in 04*/07*

It's about time, when you pay for something for 8 straight years, they ought to let you have it in the 9th year.

yes! sometimes hard to find another wahoo on the expansive but for hoo fans often desolate internets

i think based on the matchup last year, mike scott is actually better than jeff allen, and he is getting better every year

mustapha farakhan is an awful ballhandler (see acc tournament lol) but is one hell of a 3 pt shooter when he gets goin (@ vt last year), i think he gets more playing time this year

last year by the end of the year he wasn't use to getting the minutes he finally started getting, and he played out of sync

not sure what their starting lineup will be, depends on the freshmen in practice i guess

i think jamil tucker is a waste of space, one of the softest 6'9 players i've seen, reminds me of a poor, fat man's darius rice

difference b/w this year and previous years, uva now has a coach in bennet that knows how to close out games, they won't let the easy ones or the big leads get away this year

think a .500 conf record is within the realm of possibility, and their nonconf schedule has some winnable games, and some tough ones (stanford, kentucky or clev state, @ auburn, uab, oral roberts, rider)

we will have to just disagree and let the season answer it.  i hope i am right.
