Its true though . Their toughest game since oregon has been Tulsa, and they only won 28-21. As Impressive back to back road wins over Tulsa and Hawaii is, it may not be enough because of the big conference Bias....

This is the second time I've seen this posted......where is the evidence of this? Why would a second game be any different than the first? It just isn't enough for Boise to win these games...even when they beat top teams the anti-Boise folks  just call it a fluke and says if they played again Boise would lose......ridiculous logic.

Oregon has had two shots at Boise the last two seasons and could not get it done.  Oregon beats a down USC team and now they are the best ever.

Oregon's next loss cannot come soon enough, and it will come this season.

Your argument sums up the problem schools like Boise, TCU, Utah or whoever has and it basically boils down to this....you think Oregon is better than Boise St........even though Boise defeated them on the field this season it still isn't enough....Boise played Oregon and won. Look, Boise probably could stand to schedule OOC better. But like somebody said earlier in this thread, I don't think too many schools are beating down Boise State's door to play home and home with them.....what's in it for them?  All that said, Boise does own a win over a top 10 school this season, which is more than some schools will be able to say at the end of the year regardless of the conference they play in.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter........basically if  you aren't ranked in the preseason top 10 you are basically not going to play for a national championship, regardless of what you accomplish during the season. If you are ranked pre-season top 10 you can overcome all sorts of ills and people will be happy to apologize for your losses/mistakes because you were "supposed" to be good...the college football system really sucks in my opinion.

Don't blame Boise...blame the BCS.  If I'm a coach, I don't care how I get to a BCS as long as I get there.  Boise is just using the system to it's advantage, nothing wrong with that.

However, I don't agree that Boise deserves to play in a BCS game.  I think if Oregon played them today that the ducks would prevail, but that's all hindsight.

BTW if it's between TCU and Boise, I sure hope TCU gets the nod as I believe they are the superior team that has played a tougher schedule.

They will...TCU is the leader of all the "other" undefeated teams.

All your points are valid, but schedules are made years in advance and here is a program that came out of no where

They match up well with the top teams, but to get into the BCS Championship they have to go to a better conference

Boise is the perfect arguement for a PLAYOFF system. .With an 8 team playoff they could prove how good they are. The Gonzaga,s get a shot in Basketball
