Some serious paint play from MSU and a Man to Man that Lou hasn't any experience should make for an interesting watch.
Just putting money against a seriously negative line has to keep you praying the refs don't blow it or an injury doesn't occur.
Some of the best rebound in all of the NCAA was from MSU. They have a chance whether or not you wish to admit it. There are other bets to make that don't pull at your heart strings... Think of these teams as if they were machines. MSU just drove over a few other machines and probably spent the last 24 hours watching Siena steal Louisville balls and cause turnovers. They at times played a man to man press that caused deflected passes and some turnovers that put some freak into the show in the 2h.
Louisville should cover but watchout I'll be simply watching seeing the line put down this sharply.
You have to make these teams machines. When they all collide at the end of these tournaments it's a lot of the time a machine that gets some unusual break, that wins it all.
GLA esp. the moneyliners... LOL
Excellent Post!

I don't feel comfortable giving any team this deep in the tournament so many points,i think the blowouts are done now...........This is sparta +6.5 and maybe an over 137.5

Like L'ville -6.5: too much athleticism for Sparty. MSU played a great second half and (thankfully) covered their last game against KU but they, uncharacteristically, got outrebounded. If that happens today MSU won't be able to keep it within single digits. A young Kansas team collapsed in the second half- that won't be the case for an experienced and tough Big East L'Ville team.

UL will win outright and will probably win by at least 10 - 15 but I feel more comfortable with the fact that UL will put up at least 80 and Mich St at least 65 which = OVER!!
Good Luck to all!

'Ozzygoose', appears your goose is getting cooked today. A Johnny-Come-Lately, writing smack about someone else and their first post.
You should stop short of the casino doors and hand your supposed $2K to the busker outside, and have him play you a lullaby. That's about as far as your money is going today.
Minnesota (Big Ten) BEAT Louisville, as did Western Kentucky. So much for your well-researched theory on conferences, nunce.
Indeed, do check back after the game, and have another look at how my Michigan State moneyline looks.
Now, why would Izzo want to stop short of Detroit like that?
When you're done with the man-crush on Ronaldo, with the dated AIG jersey, bring your balls (assuming they have descended) and come back with multiple apologies.
MSU and the Under, at 138.5

Yes they have seen great man to man defence...UNLV
That team was nasty the first 15 games until it went to there heads the last 2/3 rds of the season and became inconsistant w/ their defense...AND EVERYTHING ELSE!!!

I like Mich St today. I hope the line moves up though. L'ville has been quite fortunate during the recent run. They won the Big East by playing against a drained SU team. Then had a first round game which they didn't look great in (up by 2 or 3 at half-I think). They then played Sienna which outplayed them until the end and then played a team that was lucky to be in the tourny in Arizona. Mich ST is at a differnt level then all these teams.
L'ville is a great team but today I see Mich St keeping it close. Gl everyone- should be a nice game to watch

I have just one thing to say. With all the people on here laying money lines..... That's why there are bookies!! I've never seen dumber bets than guys risking double & triple their money. Yeah, you can ask "Who's laughing now?" but the return you get for what you risk IS laughable. I'd love to take your action, because if you live like that all year, you are losing!!

Got to agree with you here. Like our friend Ronaldo up there putting up 2K to win back a few hundred- all it takes is one moneyline bet like that to bust and suddenly moneylines aren't so smart. You never hear anybody say, "Yeah, I used to be a bookie... but I had to quit. Just wasn't profitable enough."

Thought I would add some perspective from someone who has been on the other side of the action for the last 9 years..(for fun and entertainment purposes only you understand)
Types of Players I wish I had 100 of....
Plays only parlays, Plays the board, plays all favorites, Homer's and ML players..especially Fav ML's
I havn't had too many of the later, however the few I did ...ended up on payment plans...I find it very hard to believe that anyone won 14 LARGE betting Fav money lines.
Hard to overcome one step forward and three steps back...

After a tough Pittsburg let down for me last night...I did my research and Im coming hard with Michigan State.. They might even have a chance to win outright so I won't hesistate to take the points. I just feel Louisville has played a soft tournament so far against subpar teams..and now will be playing a battle tested Michigan St. team which is solid enough defensively to stop those louisville scoring runs. They also have guard play that is good enough to break that press and not to mention they play to keep the game close by clock control offense. Kalin Lucas, Big ten player of the year, playing in LUCAS oil stadium today says it all. GOOD LUCK TO ALL! I WILL TAKE THE POINTS!

And how do you not love the coaching battle in this game. The years and years of success between these two dudes.
To me, this is a tricky line because you know Michigan State is gonna' be tough.
But, at the same time I feel like some of those Louisville players have something to prove after losing this game last season and when this team is on, and that press is doing what it does, and they're playing their game, they're going to be awfully tough for anyone to beat and potentially more explosive than MSU and so it wouldn't surprise me at all if they run away with this one just a little bit in the second half.
But I also wouldn't bang on anyone too hard for betting that Louisville money either.
Yeah, I know, it's not a great value (and it did just go up a tiny bit btw) but, if you feel really strongly, as I do, that Louisville wins this game AND you think they have the potential to cover but you don't want the worry that comes with betting MSU, then maybe it's worth the financial risk to take Louisville straight up.
I just wouldn't go as large because, yeah, you can definitely get burned that way.

Nice try at a comeback Ozzygoose, that was really weak... just like your gambling skills.
Why on earth would you risk $900 to win $300?
Why not just pick 3 different games and bet $300 on each? If you get just one of the three right you win your $300 (okay $270 with juice). The difference is with my method you can actually win $900 by the end of the day.
I bet even a weak gambler like yourself can get 1 out 3 correct.
Just wanted to give some advice to a gambler that clearly needs help making picks, coming up with witty comebacks, and has a male soccer player for his avatar.
Simply grow some balls and lay the points
I HOPE your feeble mind comprehends my "method" and you make some cash today.
