Coach, wondering if you have taken a look at Kansas @ Kansas St this weekend. I love KSU in this matchup. Kansas can't win if they can't run the ball, and KSU has played terrific defense at home. They also seem to finally have a QB who can move the ball without turning it over. KSU also a pretty heavy road favorite which is surprising to me.

By heavy I mean with the public (about 70% on KU). Kansas is -2.5 in that one.

I have looked at this game...but much like Stanford there is far too much love for these home dogs for me to place my money on them..as you might be able to tell me fav. bet of the week is on the boys from Nebraska.

As I said everyone claims the reason they are backing Oklahoma is a fade of Nebraska.

It's clear you are hell bent on Nebraska this weekend - the more you are told against it, the more fueled up you get.  Typically, I would say this is a great spot to be the minority.  Then again, you havent provided me with any reason to bet Nebraska other than your opinion of Oklahoma.  Nebraska has been held scoreless in 10/16 quarters on conference play.  Now you are asking a freshman in his second start to lead his team to a win in what is undoubtedly the game of the season for the Huskers up to this point.  

You say they have had 2 bad games? I would call being outgained by Baylor a bad game.  And I wouldnt consider the gimme from Missouri a good game either.  Maybe VaTech was a "good game" in which they lost.  Then again, UNC just beat VaTech, so...... 

I might have to eat my words Sunday, but Nebraska's offense is virtually unwatchable.  I believe if the Sooners put up 17 points, it will be enough to cover the 6.5

honestly coach i never thought they were a good team. I got burned in Columbia, but I'm looking to make some money back this week.

Suh is dominant, especially against a young OU line, but Landry will impress you if you give him some time. He's far along for a RS Fr

That's the thing though; Jones won't have any time. Even if you double team Suh, Crick can get after the QB as well (5 sacks last week). OU can't run the ball either.

I just think there are a lot of better games on the board. OU is far from a lock.

Coach, I had my largest wager of the year on Texas Tech ATS at Nebraska a few weeks ago and also has them on the ML for +430 I believe.  They went into Lincoln and absolutely dominated the Huskers 31-10.  This was without their starting quarterback Taylor Potts nonetheless. 

Down here in Big 12 South country, I can tell you that OU has a much more talented defense than Texas Tech.  I really would be surprised to see Nebraska score a single offensive TD against Oklahoma.  As someone else mentioned on here, If OU can get 14-17 points, I think they cover. 

I'm not trying to discourage you from your pick.  Where you decide to place your money is your choice.  I just don't understand how you see Nebraska generating much offense.  If Tech could score 31, I have a pretty good feeling OU can do the same.

don't really think Ohio State will win here but I have always said I will blindly put money on the Buckeyes ANY time they are catching points...

so #1 is right and maybe #7. i agree, the only way you can justify this is if you predict some odd luck falling to the cornhuskers and you're going on the home crowd. how is oklahoma overrated? if it wasn't for injuries they'd probably be top 2 in the country. and you can't really be naive enough to believe in revenge games, being pissed that you are outmatched all over the field doesn't make you better. Nebraska lost 31-10 to a HORRIBLE texas tech team, then lost 9-7 to iowa state, then beat baylor by 10. the only time they looked like a top 50 team this year was in a loss to VT which doesn't look that great anymore.

like i said you might win but i'm not sure how you capped this game and decided the huskers were the pick, unless you got inside info!

The last time Oklahoma played a DL this good they scored 13 points.

Nebraska lost the Iowa State game due to being -8 in turnovers. They had more turnovers than points in the game. If you sincerely believe that will happen again, best of luck to you. Because it won't. No chance of it happening.

If Helu Jr. plays, he will put the ball on the ground. Their #2 is OUT and the #3 is banged up so BOL with them. Jockeying QB's isn't so good against the fastest defense Nebraska will see all season.

I'm sorry coach to be so against you on this one, but all i can see is you being a contrarian on this one. I wish you luck on all the rest
