DU- I loooooooooooooooooooooooove the Texas play. I was right there with you when you thought the line would open at -15. Bradford did good against Baylor....but wait until he has Sergio Kindle rushing him from the blindside all game long. Once Texas shuts down DeMarco Murray and forces Bradford to win it without his #1 wideout, I see a blowout in Dallas. Im going big on this one!
 
Hey- what do you think about Iowa as 3 point dogs in Wisconsin. I can see them winning on the road by 14+. They seem to me as the only real force in the Big Ten.
 
I also life Texas Tech +10 in Nebraska. I havent decided yet, but I might even go strong on the ML there.

Well, the system I use has this game at a PK on a neutral field, and 1 of the 3 systems I use shows OU as being a 3 point favorite.

I have been a lifelong UT fan.  I live in Austin now and have seen OU live and Tx live, if Texas runs the ball with ANY success this is a walk for the Horns.  If we cannot, then OU has a shot.  That being said, I see Tx by 10-13.  Our D line will blow up and confuse their O-line.  These 2 teams always keep something hidden just for this game.  Muschamp will have some wrinkles.  OU O does not scare me, they are out of sync and the Oline is where it all starts....TX convincingly

I actually love Oklahoma's chances here. This Texas team is a mistery. They better come out and play their tails off or Oklahoma will beat their ass. Texas has not been impressive so far this year, they haven't played anyone. I was glad to see Alabama pass them up on the AP ranking,. The running game is a huge problem, they will not win the national championship without the ability to run the ball. No team in the history of college football has won the national championship without the establishing the running game.

while i agree the line seems low, i can understand it, the books don't make too many mistakes. i probably won't have money on this game, but i will definately be rooting for the horns. with that said, they haven't look that great this year and their run game is non existant. this is a huge game for mccoys career, if he can lead them with a strong victory here it will boost his draft stock, heisman stock, and will maybe leap them back to the number 2 spot. my only worry is texas defense seems soft at some times and as a team they take too many plays off.

i hope you're right DU4L, HOOK EM HORNS

the reason why this game is -3 is bc people still believe in the sooners and bradford..the oddsmaker know that they are going to get more actions on both teams no matter what so they put this at -3 simply bc UT have a higher ranking and they are playing on neutral field....no matter what rank OU is they still gets lots of respect from oddsmakers...that being said ill lay the -3 on UT b4 it goes to -4.5

Dude

Texas did not look horrible against Colorado.  Colorado played over their heads (circa Tech 2008) for a half.  Did Colorado score after the half?  How many points did Texas score after half time, 24 to how many for Colorado 0.   The standard is so high when evaluating teams like Texas and Florida, that a horrible game is a DD win...

That being said, I am happy that Bama passed us in the AP and Harris ratings.  It is a wake up call for Texas.  I am not so worried about Bama or Florida right now, its USC or Va Tech at the end of the season as a 1 loss team against our crappy SOS. 

Texas needs to make a statement on Saturday, and I believe they will.

Double...........grab it hard right now mah man..........Vegas knows what they are doing. I expect this line to go up from here cause of us Sooner Fans will lay that money when this line gets to +5 or more so "i think" vegas is spot on trying to get all the texas money while they can.
 
I may be wrong but thats the only conclusion i could come up with.
-3 Texas........really WOW i figured -7.5 or -8 just to get OU action???????????????

This line will probably be at -4 on Tuesday and could see it running all the way to -6 by kickoff.  Oklahoma backers do have tons of $$$ but my guess is that most of the Sooner backers didn't expect this line to be less than a touchdown.  Baylor hung with Oklahoma for a half and this game was closer than the final score would appear.  In the red zone, Oklahoma had some major execution problems.  And Miami sure picked apart the linebackers 2 weeks ago.  

Texas ATS the number is weak and has cost some of us major cash this year.  1-4 ATS is noteworthy, but the smallest line was still 3 scores (-19.5 vs. Texas Tech).  And after all, Mack Brown is no Urban Meyer when it comes to covering the large number.  We should for the first time see Colt McCoy willing to risk his body here to make 3rd down conversions when needed to keep them on the field.  

Texas -3.  I could see this game getting ugly if Texas gets some early momentum.

I am sure their shitty first half last week against a shwarbage team like Colorado didn't influence anyone to give them any more of a favor. Even the AP took them down to number 3 in favor of Alabama.
