Stop playing with your peepee...
Phillies won the world series without him last year. The Phillies would of made the playoffs without him. Would they got back to the World Series prob not.
My point is $$$$ more times then not buys you a playoff spot. What happens when you make the playoffs that depends on the series. The YANKS have/spend the most money hence the reason they make the playoffs then go on to win it.
BTW not a sore loser the Yanks beat us in 6. Congrats. ![]()

Quick question ... Do the Yanks win the world series without CC/Tex/AJ because last year they didn't and this past year they over paid for these players and won. So did they buy their World Series I would say Yes. Were they the better team? Yes this series but all around I don't think they are. Hats off and Congrats.
BTW when you can take the bottom 3 payrolled teams add them up and still have enough to buy another team which is equivalent of the Yanks payroll. I think that answers your question.
You're a clown.
They didn't overpay. If anything, they underpaid. That organization makes so much money that if they tripled every players salary they would still make a fortune. Their employees are not overpaid. These people know what they are doing, they have a billion dollar television network and a team worth a billion, they didnt' get that way by overpaying people.
